Hope mad dog recovers quickly, it was v hot today so here's hoping it was just the sun.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Sorry to hear about the dog. I'm sure with rest and TLC he will soon be back to being a maniac. It has been too hot today. If he was running about he could have got dehydrated. I know i haven't felt fully hydrated for days.
I had a little chuckle about your DH being useless in the crisis. My DH used to be like that but thankfully has improved as life has lurched through a few of them. We have had 3 car crashes that have been write offs between us. The first one was his mums car. And he was in such a bad state. I was the one going we need to do x,y,z. We need to get these things out the car. He would have walked away without phone/wallet etc. He didn't understand how i did it but i was the oldest in a family of 4 kids, and the amount of times the younger ones would appear drenched in blood, or a friend would appear saying they were hurt, and my shoes were on and i would be the first one to them while mum got sorted. Usually because they waited to do something really serious till she was out or in the middle of decorating. It's just what you get used to.
Hope pooch gets a good night rest and is back to normal tomorrow so you can worry a bit less about him. x0 -
Pooch seems better today, a bit quieter than normal but is managing to stand up so that is a good thing! The heat does seem to be getting to him though, he just cannot settle.
I have been making good use of the ice making facility in the fridge freezer...don't kow how I managed before:rotfl:I'm sat here like the queen with diet coke, ice and a straw!!
Bad news from work, they have not paid me or any of my extra shifts from last month:mad:. I have had a strop and said I am not waiting til next month for payment as it is £280:mad:. Every month they seem to mess up but this is rediculous:mad: The stupid thing is mystery shopping seems to pay on time.
Just realised I never did do the May 1st financial round up, seems daft to do it so late in the month so will leave it until next Tuesday which is the 1st June:eek: I know it will not be pretty but ha ho thats the price you pay for having ice on demand:rotfl:

Sitting outside with a cold drink and limitless ice cubes sounds like heaven

Aw thanks both xxxx He is full of beans today so fingers crossed it was a one off.
On the money front, I have managed to pick up a couple of mystery shops for Saturday to do around my extra occassional job! I was sure one of our regular savings account was due to mature today but I must have got my dates wrong as no money has moved..doh! Good job the enormous credit card bill doesn't need paying for a couple of weeks.:o
Mystery shopping money from this month slowly dripping in, did lots so fingers crossed it will all be paid over the next two weeks (some pay around now and others around the 10th-of course my two 'biggies'are the 10th:mad::p)
Phoned wages department today as my manager has not bothered to get back to me, they are paying me what they owe on Friday-idiots:mad: I didn't even get an apology:mad:
I picked up a couple of bingo sites on Quidco, managed a little win on both (£6 on one and £20 on the other) plus the cashback was more than I had to put in, both have tracked so should be up £61 in total from them both - hmmm about what the vets cost on Sunday - easy come, easy go eh! Edit - just looked vets bill was £39 so its not so bad after all!!
Diet seems to be going well although I don't feel like i've lost weight (6 days in and I want visable results:rotfl:) I didn't weigh at home before I went to SW as I don't want to get into that awful 'weigh myself at least twice a day' cycle. So will wait and see what tomorrows SW scales say..I'm so impatient:p
I must get back into ebaying things, I have quite a few bits n pieces that I need to rid of, perhaps that will a project for next week, I need something to keep me busy, take my mind of food!
There is a rather large ironing pile on my sofa, but I'm not sure thats the sort of distraction I want/need:rotfl:
I must say both me a the pooch have enjoyed the rather 'cooler' weather today, I'm too fat for 20+ temperatures:rotfl:.

Glad pooch is feeling much better in the cooler weather, can you teach him to operate the ice dipenser on your HUGE fridge (I have to write HUGE since seeing the photo, there is just no other way to describe it)
I always want result straight away when trying to lose weight, think this is why I have given up over the last two years, as I don't lose a stone/weekMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

He would operate the fridge given half the chance:eek: As for the weight loss, you only want it to show a stone in a week - I want at least 5 stone:rotfl:
SMF you mentioned the unmentionable - chocolate:p
I have good news, I only have 7 stone left to lose:rotfl:lost the odd 5.5lb this week:o.

Well done on the results of your weigh in. That is a great first week.
I'm going to weigh in on Friday i think, and would love 3Ib to take me to 12 stone. So much better psychologically.
I agree about being happier in cooler weather. I didn't feel comfy either.0
