:A:AI haven't had a drink since New Years Day :A:A

However, the reason this has happened is this. I put on 11 Lbs:eek::eek::eek: between the middle of November and the first of January:eek::eek::eek: Can you believe that - 11 POUNDS in about 6 weeks:cool::naughty: That's about 7000 extra calories every week for 6 weeks.

(Lost 4 of those pounds by the way - just 7 to go:o)
  • Evening all.

Had a good day today, another NSD:j and a couple more MSs booked.

My little dog is ok but he was so scared, it was his whole poor that got jammed.

I'm on the budweiser again, it seems that smf is being good enough for all of us! GG is a smarty pants too! Thank goodness for you sweet!

  • Good evening all.

Good day today, I have completed and written up 4 Mshops! Got a free luch with the in-laws and sold some high end cosmetics that were hanging around the cupboard never used for £30:j. The MSs also provided our Tea tonight so a really good day all round.

Hopefully I will not leave the house, other than to walk the dog tomorrow, so should have a no spend day (famous last words!)

I have added up our personal spends for this, as long as we don't spend anything tomorrow we have come in under budget! I have to say its been a real eye opener.

DH came in at £48.50 spends so has £26.50 to carry over to Feb.
ME: came in at £53.62 spends so have £21.38 to carry over, which is just as well as I am having my hair cut on Monday!

We lower our sky package for certain months as hubby only likes to watch one particular sport, as this is about to start again we are considering upping the package back up which will add about £18 to our costs. I am thinking this should come out of his personal spends, as things I like to do (reading, drinking:petc. ) come out of my personal spends. Am I just being mean - haven't discussed it with him yet not not sure how he will feel about this:D

I have done my sums and the current offset has not changed much but we have broken through the 70% barrier!:j

Me too!! Think I would just do it & not even discuss it beforehand, just use the 'I presumed you would expect that to happen' tactic. ;)

Well done on breaking through the 70% barrier, haven't a clue what it means, but it must be good!! :rotfl:

LOL, it means we have 70% of our outstanding mortgage in savings, so effectively if we wanted to we could pay of 70% of our remaining mortgage, however as our interest rate is so low on the mortgage, faniancially we are better off leaving it in higher rate savings for the time being.

I did discuss the Sky payments with DH last night, funnily enough I used the tactics you mentioned above! It didn't go down very well, sulky husband! I pointed out that I am accounting for my wine etc. from my personal spends....hmm he then reminded me that I don't really need any as we have a large rack in the garage that is vertually full still from last year:o. Well its not my fault I have a large stash hidden away:rotfl:.
Any way we are still in discussion about this...which means I will make him think its his idea! I mean, come on its an extra £18 a month just to watch some men in shorts running around a field.....hmmm second thoughts perhaps its a good idea after all!!:p
