I don't think it's mean... if you don't get enjoyment out of the extra channels then it should be from his spends.
I also had a no spend day today (but used a lot of electricity stripping wallpaper!). And still no alcoholic drink since new years eve. You know, reporting my drinking on your thread has made me realise that I'm a classic sporadic binge drinker - I can go weeks without a drop with no cravings, I can even go to parties, dinner out and clubbing without drinking. But when I do drink, I drink way in excess!!! I think it was the 5th Jan before I stopped feeling hung over after new year's eve!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -

LOL, it means we have 70% of our outstanding mortgage in savings, so effectively if we wanted to we could pay of 70% of our remaining mortgage, however as our interest rate is so low on the mortgage, faniancially we are better off leaving it in higher rate savings for the time being.

And for the first time ever, I've put what would be my usual Council Tax payment into a [STRIKE]rubbish, but I'm working on it[/STRIKE] savings account!!

I cannot believe that I forgot to put 'no takeaways' into my January round-up:T
Managed one Mshop and an extra shift yesterday. Am having a quiet day today..'normal' days work only. I really must have a dig around in the freezer and see what we are going to have for tea tonight.:p
I had some very strange dreams last night (which is good as it means I was asleep at some point!). In one dream my old neighbours had parked outside our front door in a van and 15 or so 'SKY' salesmen piled out of it with a load of big plastic advertisement stuff and promtly put it down the side of out house before going off and trying to sign up all the neighbours to SKY.:rotfl:. No if any one can explain that to me you are battier than me!!!!
OK, see you all late off i'm for that freezer rumage!;)
