I am currently sat with my feet up on the sofa, which the puddy cat is sat on keeping warm (the feet that is not the sofa!), ~I have Elton John on the CD player and a glass of budweiser - what a life eh!

I am working tomorrow for four hours and we have visitors coming over for a takeaway in the evening (with kids:eek:). The house is clean but not very tidy - they will have to take us as they find us i'm afraid:o:o

I am hoping for a quiet Sunday as I'm feeling quite exhausted after a busy busy week - I'm sure i'm older than my birth certificate says;)

Hubbys car went on for its first MOT today, had a few little niggles and ended up costing £133:mad:

Hubby had a nice birthday with loads of fabulously funny cards and a lovely meal out with his family to round off a busy day:D I had a black-pudding and bacon salad (which i've had before) and it was delicious.

Back to the diet on Monday as it has seriously gone out of the window this week:o

I am going to have a quick gander at everyones diaries now.

Another busy day, ended up working nearer 5 hours than 4 but will get paid for the extra too so will be happy in November when (hopefully) I will get paid! However I missed a phone call at 9am - work needed extra cover so i could have got two extra well paid shifts in......oh well, serves me right for still being in bed at 9am and leaving the mobile downstairs!:o

Friends just gone, nice eveing with far too much food and alcohol, started on the red wine and am now on the lager.............not a good idea to mix....oh well, sure I will be sorry in the morning!:p

I really must sort out the front of the house, the porch (aka small overhead roof bit!) needs a paint, dead plants need to be yanked up and some winter pansies bought to add some much needed colour. Might venture out tomorrow to buy some bits n peices.

So far Mondays plans are gym and cat to the vets for vaccination, hoping not to fit much else in!!!

Oh dear, those plants ended up costing me nearly £150 as I ended up buying a bench for the front of the house as well:o I blame the hubby!

The front of the house is looking much better, although I think the gas and electric meter boxes could do with a rub down and re paint as could part of the 'porch', now I think I can do this..however me and paint usually end up in a mess...but I will try!:D

The weather is sooooooooo cold with here today, there are huge clouds in the sky and I really want sunshine like we had yesterday!:( (stamps feet like a child!)

I still haven't done any ebaying although I do have a large boxfull of stuff ready! What I should do is take the piccies, write up the adverts in 'Word' and at least then I would half way there.

Oh well, off to do some sandpapering
