  • Lol, hubbies foot is still attached to his leg, he says it doesn't hurt when he has his shoes on, so I told him to go to bed with them on if needbe!:o I'm full of sympathy..not!

My thumb is an awful lot better, no sore all the time anymore just when I catch it or try to hold a pen! I mananged to get some glossing done when I returned home from work last night so it cannot be too bad!

I have picked up a mystery shop that I can do either on the way or from work on Saturday so thats a bottle of wine and my diesel paid for:p:rotfl:
Hubby is going to watch a rugby match on Saturday evening so i am going to have a quiet night at home (or not so quiet depending on what music I decide to put on!) and pamper myself.

  • Evening all, I am mad..totally mad! (Like you didn't know that!)
I am going to do a sponsored walk in aid of breast cancer with the gym I attend - one if my work collegues died last year of this, she was only in her early 50's and any extra pennies that can help is worth my pain!

Mum went to the doctors today, FINALLY, about a lump she has one her nose, it is cancer but locallised, will not travel around her body (thank goodness) but needs removing before it gets so big she ends up with a nasty scar. I have been nagging her to go and get it checked out for months...but what do I know, i'm only her daughter:( Oh well, alls well that ends well:o

I am working tomorrow, if I can get through the Ryder Cup traffic:eek: and am really excited that I will be checking out the new jumbonormous Sainsburys that has opened on the way home from work - all their clothes are 25% off, I really ought to buy some new work trousers, mine are 2 sizes to big and I almost had an embarressing show of my Bridget Jones today:eek:

Got insulted today by someone who asked...what are you doing over the weekend, are you going clubing?? I laughed and said I'm a bit old for that, to which he replies 'loads of women in their 40's going clubing you know'....great i'm only 38!!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Thanks GG:p

DansMum, yep big trouble as the Ryder Cup went pear shaped yesterday, all moving forward today, I left for work mega early as I thought I would get stuck in traffic and ended up more than half hour early!! Thats half hour more that I could have had in bed:(

Will see if I can set up a 'Just Giving' page, any donations would be fabulous!

Did my mystery shop on the way home, all written up now, so i'm pretty pleased with myself!

Hubby is out tonight so I am having a night of 'Come dine with me' have weeks worth on the sky+ thats i've not got round to catching up with yet, some budweiser, dry roasted nuts and a huge fruit salad - god i'm so sad!!

  • Well last night didn't quite go to plan, watched a weeks worth of 'Come dine with me', had two budweisers and went to bed at 9pm!! Think I've got a touch of 'man flu' starting.

Have been searching on the internet for cheaper dog insurance, its a mine field out there, either the cover is carp or the excess is.....well excessive:rotfl:.

Eventually managed to find superior cover with a lower excess, for £50 less than the renewal cost and a bonus £10 cashback. Happy enough with that, but by gum this naughty four legged devil hasn't half cost us a fortune in the three years since we rescued him! If we didn't have the pets we could have paid the mortgage off by now!:rotfl:

  • Ok its October and Christmas will be here before we know it! (Sorry). I have made a list of people we need to buy for now I just need ideas and the money to buy things!:o

I do have a present drawer that I put things in throughout the year with certain people in mind, however when the time comes I ALWAYS change my mind. I started to look through the drawer then got distracted by hubbys wardrobe, which I decided HAD to be sorted out there and then!!
He now has an incredible organised wardrobe with everything in size order (I know it sounds like a womans wardrobe but he has clothes in a variety of sizes due to massive weight fluctuation (a bit like me:o)

I then got distracted by the lovely weather and decided I had to do a second coat of the glossing I started last week! Windows then looked messy in comparision so they had to be cleaned too!

I have just checked the MS websites and have managed to pick up two 'bank' jobs that I can do this pm on my way to the gym:j

    Wow i've been a busy bee:D
