Eeks, I'm looking like the remedial driver here aren't I? It was more nerves than anything though to be honest :(

It's ok Tete, I had about the same amount of lessons (private instructor) and passed second time! It was nerves with me too and nothing to do with telling my instructor 4 days before the test that I could hardly see, I've never had an eye test and bought glasses so quick in my life :D

    ETA: Happy 25th Dinah!

Hope you have a lovely meal this evening. Very exciting about the house!

Great chat today - Birdie it's exciting about dress shopping! LOL at the whistles. I can't wait to see which is actually 'the one' in the end. So many decisions to make for a wedding. CMD, I told my boyfriend about your wedding in Barcelona and he was very impressed. We both love Barcelona too. Can I ask if it was easy to arrange? What did you do for the service?

I had a terrible day in work, I made a mistake with an order and now have to return a big shipment :( gutted. My boss was quite nice about it, but I feel AWFUL when I make a stupid mistake. I made a big one in the summer as well, think I am starting to lose my touch!

Awww just opened the door to a big bunch of flowers from NIM with a very sweet card. And its all the flowers I love, white roses, lillies and lavender, we all mock he's always on another planet, but clearly he is much more attentive than I give him credit for!

We went with a wedding planner so it was very easy. We got married in a church, had a catamaran up the coast for 2 hours (with 56 guests), had a meal in a restaurant and then had a private section of a bar and danced the night away til 5am. I think using a wedding planner is good because of the language barrier and they also get good deals so we probably saved money.

You will find this link interesting: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g187497-i44-k840479-Barcelona_Wedding-Barcelona_Catalonia.html

although I think some people just ended up having a UK wedding abroad and that isn't what we wanted. We wanted informal and fun.

You can have the website of my wedding planner if you want, although people in this discussion haven't been rating her lately so wouldn't want you to get in touch with someone that could let you down.

Let me know if you need anything else (info wise) and I will help you in anyway I can :)

Awww, isn't NIM a love! OH doesn't believe in flowers 'because they just die on you'! :wall:

Lara, I'm playing with the idea of this dress and having my bridesmaids in white and I've just found out that the dress shop around the corner from me stocks the designer so I'm going to go and see if they have it in to try it on! OH and I always joke that everything we need is in Ripon, I'd laugh if my wedding dress was just around the corner from me when I've been planning on going all over the place to get hold of it!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

:O can't believe you wouldn't want to wear white! Its a nice dress and all, but you could wear that dress anytime, you only get married once!

Tete, the shoulder we sewed in class, what is that called? I don't like putting a random sample in my book with no title!
