Poolie, I think it will be lovely if you're waiting at the airport with a bunch of flowers for her? Then you can get them while she's away?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Oh your good Tete. Did not think of that one. Just need to arrange to get the flowers on the Sunday at some point (before the shops close and before they run out). I think I might be better to get them on Friday.
Another thought, I could ge them on my way home on Friday morning so could surprise her when I get home.0 -
I wouldn't be embarrassed getting flowers to work, a lot of my colleagues have had them too. But it would have to be handy to get them home again, wouldn't fancy taking them on the bus!
We don't do valentines, both hate it, but hoping NIM will take me out for dinner next week one night just because I don't get out much atm!
Tete the money comes from Quidco, ebay, Amazon, no dooyoo last month or surveys actually, very simple 3 trick pony month.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I like dress 3 Dinah, there are loads of gorgeous dresses on that site, I want to find a stockist and try them all on!
Well done on the £35.77 a day off the CC! Do you ever sleep?!
Do you remember saying a little while back that you'd seen a hotel that had a £4k deal for a wedding with everything included? What was the name?
Lol thats only an hours money making a day tbh. I lied to you Tete, there was also £60 of MS in there too.

Thank you! I just want to check out my options as people are doing my head in with saying that they're coming to our faces but telling other friends that they're not. OH tells me that I should be selfish and do what I want to do for once in my life but I'm worried that OH will regret it if his best friends don't come. If I can find a cheap but nice deal for next Feb-April time then I might just have to bite the bullet and get married in England *sigh*
At least I could wear a massive white dress if I get married here... every cloud has a silver lining!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Lara, I'm playing with the idea of this dress and having my bridesmaids in white
I love that dress, tbh I prefer it to any of your other DOTDs! The colours are bootiful. Would look great in for a sunnysun kind of wedding.
Those 3 dresses are really you though Dinah! Classic but with a twist. I actually like Dress 1 the most, but it might be a bit cold in a church in September! Well done on paying all that off the CC too! :T
How cute is NIM for sending you those flowers?!
Been to the hairdressers this morning for my skin test. 2 days to go!0 -

£84. Not loads but a decent amount.Thank you! Nope not giving you the links now - this is YOUR wedding not anyone elses! Even your OH is telling you to do what you want, if he hasn't said he'd rather have it here then don't second guess him - and have what you want! You've always said you'd like friends and family there but won't be upset if they can't make it, so don't give up on your dream wedding.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That sigh says it all Birdie - don't bow to pressure from friends - it's understandable that they might not be able to afford to go, but you'll be having the party back home anyway. It's YOUR day!
ETA - yeah, what Dinah said!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
You're probably right, but it's all making me feel very confused and upset. I think I need to see my options so I know we're making the right choice.
I'm quite annoyed at OH's best friends. He'd go to the ends of the Earth for his friends but none of them have been honest with us. They've all said that they're looking forward to coming and how much fun it will be etc then I find out on the grapevine from one of OH's friends who has said that he will do his very best to come that OH's oldest best friends (who are brothers) have told him that they're most likely not coming because they can't afford it. They can still afford to go on 2 ski holidays this year but not to their best friend's wedding. I understand it's a lot of money but why not tell us flat out what's going on? One of them is supposed to be OH's best man! When's he planning on letting us know that he won't be there to fulfil his duties?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
