Happy new year all! A little belated I know...

Just got back from lovely, lovely South Africa to wet, wet (but still quite lovely) England. Can't believe all the snow you've had!

Happy new thread Dinah! Good luck with all the challenges, I hope 2010 is awesome for you!

I'm off to catch up with all the gossip (24 pages! chatty girls!) as I'm not leaving the flat until it stops raining! (I do realise I could be waiting a while...)

    Hope everyone's having a fab 2010 so far! x x

Welcome back! How did South Africa go?

While my computer tries to figure out how to play a DVD I said I'd drop in and say hi guys and girls.

The experience thing is the management lying to me by the by. They promoted the guy who started two weeks before me at christmas. The real reason I've not been promoted is they dont want to pay me the extra money and I very very much doubt I will be there in 6 months time.

But no there is no chance of my getting the sack at the moment.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

  • Spent most of the day sorting out loft stuff in DD's old room. I have several bags for recycling and ebay. However I still haven't found the jacket I sold on ebay OMG.
I have turbo listed about 15 items and will list more tomorrow as it is free listing day.

I'm on the case! I've been knee deep in washing and trying to warm the flat up today, but plan to start my own little thread tomorrow!

South Africa was brilliant - it's beautiful, the people are lovely, the history's pretty interesting and safari was A-mazing! I'll post a link to some photos when I've edited them down to a reasonable number :)

Sounds like everyone's positive about this year, despite snow and cold and being poorly - hope everyone's feeling better now.

Sorry to you hear about your knee, Dinah - sounds painful! Glad you're being looked after and hope you manage to be productive while you're laid up. Annoying about NIM's job, but v.g that he's not being made redundant. And YAY that you've booked your honeymoon; both places look fabulous!!
