I love maxi dresses, in fact my tiny clothes budget for the year might be spent on one for my honeymoon, but so far they've all been a bit bright for me!

I have sold a jacket on ebay but I can't find it. OH had a 'tidy up' but can't remember where on earth he put them. I usually keep everything I have listed in one place to avoid this situation. To compound the problem we have emptied the loft into DD's old bedroom because we were get extra insulation. So it's more than likely in there (god I hope).

I like your thinking. I already have a pattern, and no fabric wouldn't be out the budget because I can argue its homework practice! I'm trying to do £100 for the year for gold medal, £250 for silver, or £500 for gold.

Can i join the 2010 weight challenge? Need to get rid of the Christmas shelf and mitigate the thunder thighs a bit aswell. Thinking 10lbs is realistic as I am a sweet addict. So far I have been eating like a saint this week, apart from 2 stray curly wurlies!

Hi everyone,

I used to get my nails done all the time when at college but can't realy justify it now. You are lucky yours are in good condition underneath Flower - mine were a state after!

I am finally getting somewhere with the insurance company about my car, they rang me today and said it is a write off so need to find a new car now. The other insurance company still hasn't made their claim against me though.

I know i thought they would be awful when i had them taken off, but they arent too bad. Just hope they dont break now!

Erm, none Was saving for mine and OHs holiday but that's covered by the Pashley sale now. So I'm just enjoying my money atm! Well done on the weight loss too!

Happy new year all! A little belated I know...

Just got back from lovely, lovely South Africa to wet, wet (but still quite lovely) England. Can't believe all the snow you've had!

Happy new thread Dinah! Good luck with all the challenges, I hope 2010 is awesome for you!

I'm off to catch up with all the gossip (24 pages! chatty girls!) as I'm not leaving the flat until it stops raining! (I do realise I could be waiting a while...)
