my Mum was poking my belly and asking 'What's all that?!' on Sunday so I think it needs to go!

 Oh my god! Haha poor you! I'm impressed that you can do spinning tho, I really couldn't :o

Yeah I remember you getting stuck on the ice Dinah ... and a big car will come in handy for a family... *touch wood* my little micra was fine in all the snow and ice actually so hopefully will be again if we have a bad winter again. I might go and live in it if we do, it'll be warmer than the house!

I wouldn't be able to do spinning either. Whatever muscles are needed in your legs for cycling - well I don't have them!

  • No neither do I! I could barely walk on Sunday after walking around Blackpool all day on Saturday - and that's flat! I consoled myself with the fact that dodging in and out of crowds isn't the same as normal walking, and I was wearing boots that I haven't worn for about 2 years so I was using different muscles to normal :D

LOL! Maybe that's why my muscles don't hurt too much today, I don't have them?! I kept going a bit too fast on the standy up bits for my comfort and getting scared then trying to slow back down and wobbling all over... it's nerve wracking stuff! My friend fell off the seat but couldn't pull herself back up because her feet were stuck in the stirrup things! It was really funny to watch but she was traumatised! :rotfl:

4x4 sounds good Dinah, especially for the winter! Although saying that when it was all snowy last year I kept whizzing (well, crawling) past big 4x4s that had given up trying to drive on the bad roads and I was in my little Punto! Speaking of which, it passed it's MOT yesterday, I'm so proud! I was really worried because I kept cutting out when I stopped at traffic lights ect and thought something was really badly wrong... but my radiator had no water so it was overheating and causing me to lose power! :o The man at the garage told me to keep popping in to make sure that my water levels are right in future, apparently with it being a silly Italian car it isn't easy to check and top up the radiator, which makes me feel a little better! Still a bit (very) stupid though! :o

I don't know if when I have a baby OH would feel comfortable looking after it all alone every morning before he goes to work (if I go back to my normal job)... I reckon he'll be calling his Mum everytime it cries or needs changing! He could surprise me... but I won't hold my breath! :rotfl:

Hi everyone! :D Been ages since I've been on but I was talking to Zig last week and she mentioned Wendzs news and I thought it was time I came on and caught up. Glad everyone still has all their limbs :D Massive congrats to you though Wendz! My friend had her baby last week and I can't get over the fact she's a mummy. She's only 2 weeks older than me!

I'm here. Not much to say really. Builder situation is hellish but we'll get it resolved eventually.

What is happening with this? They charged more than they quoted, right? Was it due to extra works popping up or just they massively under estimated the work as a whole? If it's the latter, and you have a hard copy of the quote I'm sure you'll be fine. I'd be worried about them having the keys too. I'm not saying this to scare you, just something I've noticed but most subbies we work with put something like 'goods are property of *insert company name* until paid for in full' or whatever. But anyways, fingers crossed it gets sorted.

Little bit of news from my end. Me and OH have a house, and we're moving in next month. Part of me is thinking 'FINALLY' but the other is thinking 'I'm only 19, I'm a baby!' Still, really excited!

Oh wow Cinny - congrats on the house. Did you buy it or is it a rental?

You must be so excited :)

Ahhh, how exciting Cinny! Are you looking at lots of lovely bits to decorate with? What's the house like?
