Oh no! ell hope you get as much done as possible. Think I might have a really long engagement so I have loads of time for all the organisation hehe.0

I'm sure once you get into the swing of it, it won't take too long. And you're a lady, you can multitask
And don't say Weddings suck, you're going to have a lovely day with NIM and all your family... and cupcakes! All the trouble will be worth it when you're lazing in that beach hut thingy.0 -
Tackle the smaller things first so you can cross them off your list and then concentrate on the bigger ones.
Can you cut back a bit on the money making a bit? It seems awful to be so stressed in the run up to your wedding. You should be out meeting friends and picking honeymoon clothes rather than being stressed.
Can you not leave some of the house stuff until after the wedding?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Nope, if I cut back on the money making I can't pay for the wedding! NIM is focussing on the house stuff, but the broadband - thats an essential as I NEED to have that in my house when I come back from honeymoon - I'm a bit of an addict.
Have emailed HR to get clarification on if I can go straight from sick to holiday, I don't want to violate my contract, but it seems mental to go back when every medical professional is saying I shouldn't.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Can understand the broadband - am an addict myself!
It just seems a shame that you have so much to do.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I feel like at least if I get things a bit in hand now, I might be less stressed in the run up to the wedding.
I've given up doing new ebay listing etc now, while I still have lots of boxes of stuff to sell, its going to be too close to the wedding by the time they finish. So I'm just going to take all the boxes to the new house, stick them in one side of the roof space, and that's my little stash when NIM and I return from honeymoon and start our debt clearing race. All his stuff from Ireland is being shipped over soon, so he's going to have plenty of stash to lay into as well.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

What a shame that you've got so much 'other' stuff to worry about in the run up to the wedding, ditto Wendz in that I hope you don't get too stressed! And ditto Cinny, weddings don't suck! Stop bellyaching about it all or I'll crash it and eat all of your cupcakes!
:rotfl:
I had a weird dream last night that I went to have my wedding hair trial and it was absolutely awful, I looked so bad but they told me it was too late to change the style so I'd have to have my hair like that, I was not happy! Woke up in a hair panic!
OH's Mum came round before (still off work!) with cake and we had a nice chat over a cuppa. She was telling me about when he was 3 and would come back from nursery telling her that he was going to chop her into little bits and stuff her in a matchbox! I'm scared! Where does a 3 year old get these ideas from??? And I'm kind of worried now that our kids will be like that!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Haha Birdie! That's so cool your OH Mum calls round too. Hope you're feeling a bit better today.
Dinah that's a big old to do list but at least you're getting it all out of the way a bit before the wedding. My friend decided to burn 100 CDs for favours, print them and print and make their covers the day before the wedding - whoops! Make sure you're enlisting all the mates you can. P.s. what is shoe bling thing?! Sounds intriguing... It's so exciting to be so close now.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

 Not good! I had a weird dream last night too, but on a different level. Me and OH were sitting on a bench singing theme tunes with !!!!!! and Dom (in da bungalow!) I think we've been watching too much 'Are you smarter?'
I had a little LOL at your OHs baby story! Is it bad I think that would be kind of cute? (as long as your kid wasn't actually mental) Like when the girl in the Haribo ad goes 'Sign the 'FESSION!'
Hope the list is going okay Dinah!0 -
I think OH was more 'tiny psycho' than cute! His Mum said she had no idea how to make him stop; she'd say it was nasty and he'd just look at her! He only stopped once he saw her cyring about it! The stories he's told me from his childhood have scared me too! I'm hoping he was just hanging with the wrong crowd and doesn't actually look at me now thinking 'I'm going to cut you up into little pieces and put you in a matchbox!'... I sometimes do wonder what he's thinking when he's being a bit quiet and moody.... eek now I've really scared myself!
