Sounds like a good plan Dippy! 1k over 3years to save? Easily spread out then
I'd love laser surgery, just so I could see in the morning! But I'd have to buy fake glasses because I do love them
Spent this morning making a list over breakfast, of things I want but can't get yet/cost a little too much to buy with my weekly spending money. And I'm going to keep it with me at all times, to either add things to it or as a little nudge for putting something down and not buying it. Hoping this works! Need to go into town this morning for cat food, so I can test it!
Tete - I don't know how you are for glasses but I saw glass tumblers similar to this this (only a lot taller but still chunky!) in Morrisons, they were selling them in sets of three for 85p! My Grandparents bought a set and are pretty impressed with them. Thought I'd pass it on, just incase0 -
Thanks Cinny, I'm actually not bad for glasses and mugs, got a couple of sets squirrelled away
Speaking of glasses - by the time I got my prescription (thought I had it at home but didn't), those Audrey glasses in brown had gone so I got the pink Deirdre ones! Just for a laugh! I wish I'd been more on the ball, there were some really nice ones on the first day and I was sort of left with the dregs, never mind though eh - it's cheap for a bit of experimenting!
I'd love laser surgery too, but you're right about the cost - what they quote is for those people who don't even REALLY need glasses at all! Would be lovely to be able to go swimming etc witout lenses in... Might put it on my wishlist of things I'll never be able to afford...
Lovely bag Wendz, what a bargain! I love big bags but I do end up carrying a lot of carp about with me
Cinny the list idea might work - like having a 'fat' photo of yourself on the fridge so you don't overeat, that kind of thing? What's on the list??
Sadie the Bra Lady, that rings a bell... is she a mobile person who has a van? Or where is she based? (Not that I'd ever need her help, just wondering where I've seen her!)Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

It rings a bell with me too, I've seen cars (or vans?) with her name on, it makes me giggle because, well, she's a Bra Lady... to the rescue!
I'd ideally like to get my eyes done before going away. I'm always so conscious of my contact lenses and I worry about them coming out. We're wanting to swim with dolphins but I know I'll be getting pulled along by them with my eyes shut tight because I don't want water getting in and washing the lenses out!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Very exciting things, that's what! My own Yankee Tart collection (I steal my Mums normally, but I like the really sweet or cinnamon-y ones), a new mop and bucket with schmancy floor cleaner (exciting!;)) an order from a American food site, The Saturdays new album and a VW T25 Autosleeper (never gonna happen!)
Shame about the glasses! I got sent an email on Saturday saying they'd run out of stock of one of the pairs I wanted (the purple ones) so I'm getting the same frames in brown now. I've got my oversized blue ones though, I look abit geeky in them but in a nice way!0 -
Mmm, I was looking at the yankees yesterday, they're lovely. Someone on the Grabbit board said their Clintons Cards were selling them half price, but when I went along there were none at all, maybe they're not doing them any more and selling them off? I would love some sort of little camper van *wistful sigh*
Anyone know if you can spend the Dooyoo vouchers on Amazon sellers rather than Amazon themselves? The kettle I've been lusting after for six months is now out of stock everywhere (and has gone up by about 15 quid)!

Not all stores do them, those that do them will still be stocking them - its just a special offer on at the moment (cant remember when it finishes). Its mainly the larger stores that stock them. Can you guess where i workBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I think you can use the vouchers for sellers; from what I remember when I used mine I bought something from a seller. Put it all in and see if it goes through!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

This one usually has them but there were none yesterday, unless they've all sold out because it's such a good offer?
Yeah might give it a go, thanks Birdie, need to run it by OH first!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Morrisons?!
I don't have the candles, I know they last ages and smell amazing but even at sale prices it would pain me to burn them! So I stick to the tarts, which smell just as nice for £1Plus my burner is tiny, so I have to cut them into thirds.
I've bought from a seller using vouchers before (It was a part voucher part my pennies order though, don't know if that changes anything)
I feel mean to my cat atm, I'm experimenting with his food(the stuff he normally has went up in price so I'm boycotting them!) I got some cheap stuff from HB (although the old lady stocking up says her cat likes it) and some 'shredded dried duck' to mix in with it, cause he likes juicy bits! Hope he likes it because it'll save me about £3, and the real meat content and all the other stuff is higher, so its better for him.

Yea could be that. I know we were out of stock of them for quite a while. Also depending on the size of the store it may be that they arent going to restock there and replace with something different.
I know we are keeping them but we are one of the biggest stores so we have room for everything. Hope you find somecould of got you a discount
