Dinah - don't overdo it, you don't want to go backwards. Must be so frustrating though!

I got my new bag today yay. Is a leather one that was reduced from 70 to 30 on Asos. Is really nice as well, lets hope it lasts!

Aye he clipped it off, she didn't like that, and it bled quite a lot. She seems happier already though, more willing to jump.

No that actually makes a lot of sense to me Tete, might be worth seeing your doctor as if it is the same thing (which it might not be ofc) then you can prevent it going completely with physio and exercise. The damned bike might stop the other knee going entirely if I can build up the muscles across the top of the knee with using it every day. Does it feel 'grindy' or is there discomfort or pain when you put weight on it bent/weight on it and take it from bent to straight?

Everyone in our house is trying so hard to loose weight bless them. We made some chocolate guiness cakes for one of NIMs colleagues birthdays on Thursday, 5 days later 8 out of 10 of the overflow cupcakes are still in the fridge.

Not so much 'grindy' just feels like it's jarring if that makes any sense at all. Difficult to tell at the mo as all my leg muscles feel like they're falling off the bone after Saturday :o It's as I put the weight on it when going upstairs/up hills. Might see the doc/try getting a support thing for when I'm walking.

Everyone losing weight for the wedding? That's some good willpower that all those cakes are left, especially with you not being at work too! Glad kitty is ok :)

I desperately need a new bag Wendz, mine is falling apart, but I'm so fussy I don't like any of the ones in the shops! Do you have a piccy of yours??

I've thought about it Lara! He's so annoying, he lies diagonally across the bed, not bothered that I'm very tall as well and end up crunched in a ball, with the fattest cat on top of me because there's no space on the bed. Seperate beds might be the way forward here...

Superkingsize is called for I think Tete!

Yep everyone is loosing weight, mum is even going to see Sadie the bra lady see if she can do some magic measuring to make her bust shrink as atm her bottom half is a 12/14 but her bust makes her an 18 on top so nothing fits right!

I'm all excited, I bought me and OH some bottles of mountain dew yesterday and he's over later so we can try it! How sad is it I'm this excited about a drink just because it's American?

    Love that bag!

My money news: I've decided to start saving up for laser eye surgery and am opening a separate account for that so it doesn't get mixed up with my other savings. At my last eye test, the optician seemed quite confident that my eyesight would settle down by the time I'm 26 (so I'm not in the right position until then) so I've got 3 years really to get the money together. Just as well as I read that the prices they quote on the tv (£395 per eye etc.) are rarely the actual cost and mine would probably exceed £1k in total as my eyes are not good without glasses!

Other than that, I'm just slowly 'paying back' the money I took out of the ISA and SRE accounts for the vet bills. The ISA is less than £100 off target now so I'm planning to throw the next two DooYoo cheques at that to get it back to square one. The SRE fund isn't too far off either now, maybe £100 off. Sorry I don't have anything very interesting to share but it's all been work, work, work lately!
ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)

I like the bag Wendz! Not as much as I like this one though, I need it! ;)

Ooooh I lurve Mountain Dew Cinny! When I were a lass... (sorry, bit of Yorkshire popped out there!) my brother and I got addicted to it when we were on holiday in Florida and we were bouncing off the walls all night; after a few days my parents realised that it was absolutely laced with caffiene! It's not the same over here, but I still love it! Is it still neon green or has it toned down now?

Good on you for choosing to save for laser eye surgery Dippy! You'll be able to save the money in 3 years no problem, it may have gone down a bit by then too, here's hoping! I really really want my eyes lasering, it's just another expense to think about! One day...
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
