I do that too. I'm a bit OCD about it to be honest and if there is like £65.67 in the account, I have to transfer the 67p over to the 'surplus' account (the SRE fund in this case) and often the £5 to so it's all nice and round. It's surprising how much it does mount up though!

I do that too, with money from my own account and the joint account as it's all on my online banking screen, OH gets really confused as he can't figure out why the joint account is always at a nice round figure! :rotfl: Just from doing that we've managed to get about £360 in the savings account without really trying in a fairly short space of time.

ETA: That china is so pretty Tete! I want it! When we get round to replacing our dinner service OH wants it to be plain (boring!). We're using my parent's old Wedgewood service from years ago as they somehow ended up with 2 complete services as well as 'every day' china but it's got blue flowers on and OH says it's too girly. Rubbish boring boy!

    Congrats!! :D That's fantastic news.

Thanks Dippy, I've been trying to do that myself with the little bits of loose change in my account, but by the end of the month I always need to transfer it back into my main account to tide me over! :o

Lol I've seen those before, they're really cute. I want to sew a pillow with that on though.

Think I might be pushing myself a bit far. I'm VERY concerned that I'm at the halfway mark between surgery and the wedding and still on crutches and walking like a peg leg pirate, so I've upped my physio from 20 mins cross trainer resistance 6/10 mins bike (makes other knee hurt)/1 hour resistance training and weights 4 days a week, to 45 mins cross trainer resistance 10/20 mins bike (still makes other knee hurt)/ 1 hour 30 resistance and weights 5 days a week. Think the cross trainer is lying to me as apparently just from that I'm burning 1000 cals in my 45 mins?! The reason I think I might be pushing it too far is I have blisters on my palms, fingers and pads of my feet! Still, if it gets me walking I better just get on with it.

Have to take cat to vet today, one of her claws hasn't desheathed properly and has grown around in a curve and is starting to press into her paw. As a result she's very unkeen to jump with that paw, should be fairly easy to fix though.

So shamelessly me! Work has been a bother today so I kept calm and ate 2 cupcakes :o On top of a blueberry muffin for breakfast. Just adding to my cake shelf!

ETA: Poor Kitty!! Hopefully it isn't causing her too much bother. With the warm weather my cat has left me, just meows to be let in for food then toddles off again as soon as he's finished. Hmph!

Thanks Flower, I was really starting to despair when you and Wendz seemed to find places so (relatively) quickly - I'm happy I can get excited and buy fish shaped things now :D

If the bike is hurting your other knee Dinah do you think you should be upping it? Hey can you describe what your knee felt like before it went altogether? Mine was really hurting going up Helvellyn - it was like walking up steps in a lot of places and would hurt sort of behind the kneecap just as I put pressure on that leg to lift my other leg up a step (hard to describe, does that make sense?) - really hope it's not the same thing!

The vet will just clip it off won't he? The claw, not my knee!

    Hooray Tete!

That is wonderful news! How exciting to be moving in with your OH. Don't forget about basics like a bed amongst all that china shopping :rotfl:

It sounds like a lovely place and I am sure you'll both be really glad you didn't compromise too much. Enjoy it, you deserve it. Cheers!

(Can we have some piccies later on when you're all sorted? :D)

I know I know! We have a bed and a mattress between us - but my bed has a footboard and OH is too long for it - settees are the priority really I think! So exciting though! :)
