One for the ladies with guts whose men don't take the hint. I don't normally promote things like this, but it's the smartest hint I've ever seen!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Gotta agree with the girls, i dont know if i'd be all Bridezilla-ish about it, but i would defo be organised if i was spending loads of dollar. Fingers crossed it all falls into place

Evening everyone.
Dinah, we are going to Dublin over the bank holiday weekend in October. We need to stay fairly central (friends running in the marathon) Do you or NIM have any ideas where we could stay?
Re the wedding invites...I don't think many people we even notice!
Stay relaxed.
TPAxMFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
Erm no, ours includes cocktails! I looked at several and they all seemed to tbh. We looked long and hard and Reethi was definately the best deal for a AI water villa, and they're doing a big refurb atm but not yet reopened. I called Thompsons, they got us a good deal (cheaper than Thomas Cook or Kuoni), and when I hadn't booked 2 days later called back and knocked £200 per person off the price. Emirates are supposedly the best for flights over.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

As far away from that hellhole that might once have been irish as you can.
It very much depends on how much you want to spend and what facilities you need.
For all its failings, and it has a LOT of them, dublin has a VERY good public transport service but you need exact change or a rambler card as most of them give a reciept for change rather than actual change.
Where is the race running from and to?
And where are your friends based?
Sorry for the 3rd degree but theres too many options. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

TPA - I am from Dublin and it is a lovely city. Don't know what parts you saw Dinah but I think hellhole is quite a strong and misguided (IMO) word!!! There are some wonderful pubs, restaurants and shops there and you are bound to have a good time!
Jury's is always a good bet, as it is relatively inexpensive and quite central. I can give you the heads up on any areas if you have picked a hotelTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
