LOL, I love Supernanny, the woman's a genius! She should so make a series about training men, the same rules would apply as you've proven! Has he finished the assignment?

OH nearly died at work last night, and I'm not even kidding! Some nincompoop dropped a pallet of 18 metal baths from about 3m up and OH just managed to jump out of the way in time so it missed him by about a foot! If it had been someone less nimble and aware (like me...) they'd have been flattened. I'm so cross I'm going to find every manager here today to make sure they know and that they investigate how it happened! I was nearly a ... what's a word for a widowed fiancee? Or is that it?!

Dont think it makes you a bad girlfriend, but its definitely a bit strange! :rotfl:

My mum has asked me to check her Clubcard points....im confused.
They've sent her £23.00 worth of vouchers in the post. But when i log on, she's only got £4 worth of points. But she shops in there every week and spends over £100! So how has she got so little points?! She doesnt spend them instore either anymore, so it cant be that. I dont get the way it works :o

Once they send out the vouchers those points no longer show online. So given the most recent points were sent in May, £4 is what she has earned since then. It is therefore very important to keep the vouchers in a safe place, as the numbers on them are what you type in when you are swapping for deals.

Lol he didn't finish the assignment, but he was never about to in a night. As its year 1 he only needs to get 30% on each assignment to pass and it doesn't count towards the final degree. However he REALLY struggled with this one so while he has an 83% average he's not sure he's even going to pass this one :o

Thats awful abotu your OH, I'd definately tell management to investigate that, because it shouldn't be possible for that to happen.

A single girl with a very nice dress :D

Glad your OH is okay though, flattened by a tub would be an awful way to go!

Hope NIM gets the assignment done!

That's awful Birdie, I bet you feel really shaken, I would! Totally true though, I'd have been flattened too, I just float about in my own little world!

Poor NIM, the thought of homework and essay writing makes me want to fall instantly asleep. And poor bunny! My skin crawled a bit at the thought of picking them out with tweezers *shudder*

I didn't even see them and I started retching, I'm such a wuss with things that are 'dirty'. I can barely touch the rabbit at the best of times! NIM doesn't have the squemish gene though! Mum said after 'if he's half as good with kids as he was with me and the rabbit tonight you have got yourself an amazing father there'.... I seriously think he is now the favourite child!

    Mornign all,

Got to admit that I also winced at the maggots, not my favourite things!

I did laugh at the Super Nanny tactics Dinah, it seems to have done the trick though, fingers crossed NIM gets the pass :)

Birdie that sounds like a serious Health and Saftey issue and I hope they get it sorted.

    Payday today - Hurrah :j

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

I don't get paid until next Friday :( Which is no good as we've been skint for every bank holiday this year so far because of the way payday falls!

I used my Amazon voucher last night to buy a wedding present for our friends who are getting married on Saturday (nothing like leaving it late...), we've decided to get them a popcorn maker as it's a bit of an inside joke between us and we just weren't comfortable with giving them cash like they asked for. And thanks to the voucher it only cost us £9 (it was a marketplace seller and the voucher worked! But we had to pay for postage boo!)

LOL@ your description of a widowed fiancee Cinny!
