Ooooh, I don't know about that... looks a bit unfamiliar! I know where I stand with cupcakes and I don't like to waste my calories on things that might not taste good enough to warrant the extra lbs they cause!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

I made some once - they're pretty scrummy but don't hold a candle to cupcakes! But that's just me0

I don't reckon they compare to cupcakes either! Again I haven't tried them, but my understanding is that they're like biscuits with stuff between them or mini whole cakes?! Happy to be corrected if wrong!
Birdie, there's no harm in trying! You can always revert to other rich sources of calories if they're not your thingLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
I've had them once and I hated them. You know that foam stuff you use in DIY that expands when you spray it? Felt like it was doing that in my mouth, I wanted to be sick - not good!
Love, love love the cupcake bar idea though!
Have spent around 7 hours today working on my dress - and I haven't even finished the bodice yet - I hate lining! That said I spent well over an hour hand slipstiching the whole of the collar bit but I am so chuffed with the results. And then I managed to melt the fabric on the front a bit - me and irons dont mix. I think I'm going to go back to the sewing machine and spend the next hour or two trying to get the bodice part finished. I've pinned it all in place, so its just some very fiddly stitching left to do. Tomorrow I'm either going to tackle the skirt part, or the new product business plan, and do the other one of the two on Sunday.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Evening all!
Thanks for the lovely welcome messages from you all.
I have had a really productive day today but don't seem to have achieved much.
I wrote a very small list (4 things) and managed to achieve 2 of them!
But I haven't stopped all day so I know I have a few things out of the way.
Our computer downstairs (a lovely old reliable emac!) is getting a bit slow and that's where I do my 'new business' and any graphic design stuff and haven't yet had the time to check what I can throw away but I know it has to be done!!!
So typically that's what I have been using today at a snails pace compared to my laptop, which is used for ebay stuff, banking and procrastinating.
Here we go, for the next half an hour or so I will be checking what's been safely backed up and what can be chucked!
I have to package six items to post tomorrow morning. Don't you just love the Saturday morning queues in the Post Office?!
You are all so enthusiastic about baking! I am so rubbish in the kitchen I just can't get interested in it and I have a lovely husband who loves cooking and trying new stuff so I am really spoilt! It's good to read about all of your trials with your cupcakes as my friends are getting married in August and are having the cupcakes instead of the wedding cake and the bride's mam is a fantastic cook and has been trialling two different flavours a week for the past two months or so. I don't know how the bride will manage to keep her figure for the wedding dress!!!
I have loved reading all about the wedding plans and the DOTD from a little way back. Reading about the progression of all of your plans has been fascinating cos it doesn't seem that long ago (5 years in July) that I was preparing and creating tons of stuff for our wedding.
More exciting stuff, my pal is getting made redundant in June which is usually a nasty time in anyone's life, it happened to me December 2008 and I am still picking up the pieces with regards finance and career progression! But she is determined and working so hard to get a new business off the ground and she is involving me quite a lot which I am so excited about. She is starting her own millinery business and has so many ideas - I am a little bit envious! But she is asking me to help out and advise on so many levels. We are all planning a Ladies Day to Newcastle Races in July so all of the girls can wear posh frocks, very high shoes and her exciting creations on our heads! Which should be a scream as I am the most casual dresser in the world - jeans, trainers (or flip flops in the summer) and top is what you will usually find me in!!! So the heels and posh frock as well as a fascinator or hat will be a bit of a sight! Oh, yeah - that's what I was going to say - I have done some design work for her tonight which isn't really work for me cos I love tinkering about in photoshop and freehand and playing with fonts! Yep, that wasn't on my list but it just had to be done!
See I am so easily distracted to just chat and not get on with the 'list'!!!
Anyway I hope everyone has a great weekend and the sun keeps shining wherever you are.
I am off to crack on with this boring old backing up and spring cleaning of my mac!DEBT FREE SINCE SEPTEMBER 2015 :beer::beer:0 -

Yey - I can now cross another thing off my 30 before I'm 30 list -
27. Sew a dress I can and want to wear.
Finished my hem and zip this morning. I chose this pattern because I found the blue material and loved it, but thought it would be a bit much en masse, so I thought I could make some nice workwear with a small ammount of it.
Enjoy the piccies!
I'm really, really pleased with the dress, there are a few small niggles where some hems frayed a little bit but overall I'd be more than happy to wear it out. I altered the pattern a bit, made the skirt longer and put a slit up the back, as I don't like wearing things above knee height, and suprisingly these alterations worked quite well.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
