My OH can be a bit tough love too but I think it's what I need! What a sweetie NIM is, he's right though, there's no point shouting at you since you're already so disappointed in yourself. He doesn't seem like a shouter really, I can't imagine him telling you off!

Cinny, I'm looking forward to seeing your stash!

No neither can I, the worst image I can conjure in my head is one of him with quite a stern look on his face, perhaps wagging a finger :D

I don't think he ever has told me off come to think of it. I've heard him ranting about work stuff or angry at his mother, but I think he's only been angry at me properly twice (when I turned down his first proposal telling him he'd regret it, that didn't go down well!) and even then he didnt yell at me, just got pretty quiet. I can't handle yelling at all though, but I expected it last night. But I guess it works, I can put up with being yelled at for an evening, but feeling like I'm letting him down I can't really so him being nice about it is more of an incentive to learn to be good.

Finished my mood board for sewing class today. Not chuffed with it as its a bit plain (and Tete's is awesome and I don't want mine to be seen next to hers!), but at least I've made some progress to show the teacher tonight, and I can try to get my book up to date over the next fortnight or so.

Hahaha no it's not! My next one is going to be smaller, I really struggled to fill it! I've got sort of half a dress bodice done, lots of princess seams, but nothing else. Am really behind on my samples so might try and catch up a bit with them :o

I'd feel worse if OH was nice to me too so in a way being tough with me does no good as I end up resenting him and focus on that instead!

    Oooh is Tete the swot?!

I'd take one evening of telling off over a week of disappointment any day! OH hates disappointing his mum, he'd rather die than see that sad look on her face! I hate him being cross at me because he just goes quiet and whenever I ask if he's OK he gives me a fake smile with dead eyes, I hate it! Just shout at me!!!!

...next...one... You're doing another mood board?!?!

I'm behind on my samples too. Need to do facings but I just can't work out what I'm doing with it!

I'm exactly the same, if someone yells I stop listening and turn off, and generally keep doing what !!!!ed them off in the first place just because I don't care!

I'm the same, can't dissapoint mum. NIM has latched onto this, seen how well it works, and has adopted the same tactics I think!

I thought as we're doing two projects that means two mood boards? Augh I have so much to catch up on I don't even want to think about it. I still haven't even done that stupid blind hem thing from about Week 3!

You only need to complete one garmet, and one mood board. If we want to do anymore we can but one of each is sufficient to pass the course.

Oh right. Hm. Well I'm hoping that the dress will be better than the skirt so that's what I'll want to hand in, but the mood board is for the skirt so I guess as long as the dress goes to plan I'll have to do another MB to go with it?! Grr.

Yup. Your skirt is great I'd be proud to hand it in!

Given there are no grades I don't really care what I hand in atm! I know I've done enough to pass (or will have once I finish my samples) and thats all that matters. I really wanted to do some sewing yesterday, and today actually, but I need to be good and finish ebaying and do this business plan first before I go back to doing fun things.
