aww ROTE I hope the little one gets better soon!! I cant imagine how scary it must be when they dont know what is wrong!
On the DY front I've found something I want to buuy on amazon so I've cashed in £20 of points but I think I will still count them because my goal of £50 by the end of this 10 week challenge hasn't changed. I've done one DY this morning but I am seriously lacking inspiration, i just want them to accept my product suggestions!!

I sorted my car insurance yesterday (my lovely mummy paid it as part of my birthday present) and I was actually really happy with my renewal quote. I looked online for ages and the nearest quote I got was about £100 more expensive so I just stuck with the same one. I dont think what I paid was bad (£440) considering my age, my bfs age and my car so thats pretty cool :) ( everyone else on here probs thinks £440 is shocking but I think its pretty good for me at the minute!)
Also looked at some london bits, I would rather look with the boy in person though but I'm only going to see him for about 1/2 an hour this weekend :( because hes going to see his friends for the weekend. Thanks for the top tips people gave me!
Today I am going to try and cut down my dissertation (its too long by a lot) and then look at referencing and try to do that all properly too! and then look at my coat I am supposed to have allready made for my evening course but I can't get my head round
Wait wait, I think this needs a list (sorry D for crashing your thread!)
    1. cut down dissertation
    2. look at referncing book
    3. decide on figures and draw rough ones
    4. give the chapters names
    5. look at lab report, try to do one lab (of 6!)
    6. look at coat
    7. clean room
    8. Dooyoo
    9. Dooyoo

Think I need to get my act together!!

Hi all I like to make leek and spud. It is really hearty and filling. I tend to use a masher rather than a blender, a I like it with a bit of texture. I usually blend some up for the baby and batch freeze that, she loves it.

Talking about my little pink person, she has been in hospital. They still not to sure why but she has had sickness and a high temp. They have done some tests but the results are not back yet. We were all a bit worried but she is starting to act like her smiley little self.

Really hope shes on the mend soon. Little people are so hard because they can't say whats wrong. I was in and out of hospital at least once a month for the first year, they didn't know what was wrong, it was only when I hit about 18months they worked out I had a LOT of ear infections as my tubes were too narrow - nothing dangerous to me really, just painful for a child hence the screaming and fever etc.

I hope little Amber is feeling better soon and they know what's wrong ROTE! For some reason I was idly thinking of baby names last night (as you do...) and Amber popped into my head and I thought, 'Ooooh, I like that.... now where have I heard that?' and remembered she was your little pink person!

I'm sitting here with a poorly arm as I've had to have some blood samples taken this morning :( I keep getting the shakes so the doctor thinks I might have dodgy blood sugar, will find out next week. Going to have a cup of coffee and an oaty snack bar to perk myself up!

Hope everything gets sorted for Amber ROTE - like Dinah said it's hard with babies as they can't explain what's the problem. Fingers crossed for you x

Birdie - Poor you! Hope it isn't anything like dodgy blood sugar, but the coffee and snack bary sounds like a good idea! :D

Is anyone watching the debate thingy tonight btw?

I'm missing the debate tonight as I'm having a Vie at Home (aka Virgin Vie) party. I have to figure out how to fit about 14 people onto 10 seats! I'm also hoping they don't all want wine because I don't have enough glasses! I've already had to borrow 6 off my Mum! I wasn't expecting this many to come! My lovely OH has been cleaning the flat today so it looks nice for the people who are coming just because they want a look at where we live, bless him! I meant to do it last night but I cleaned the bathroom then popped to see my friend at 7 for 'an hour' and came home at 10.30!

Good luck with the party Birdie! I'm off to see Micmacs at the cinema so will probably miss it, I doubt it would alter my vote though to be honest!

Good luck from me too Birdie! Is this your first one?

I've been set on my party since I was 15 so I doubt tonight will change anything! I just find stuff like that interesting to watch, does feel a little bit Americano though.

Yep, I've never hosted anything like this before, I'm more of a 'come round and help yourself' kind of hostess so I'll probably forget to offer drinks to people and I won't have enough snacks but hey-ho, I'm sure we'll have fun!

I think I know who I want to vote for but not totally convinced, it's more of a case that I prefer that bloke to the others!

Sounds really good Birdie, and should make you some pretty pennies to fund the honeymoon wardrobe!
