Ah very sneaky and very clever! I have to admit that I love pies (the proper deep filled ones from the butchers) but have them rarely because they're so not good!

My OH loves Pukka Pies too, he always really excited if he sees a fish and chip shop selling chicken and mushroom Pukka Pies and has to have one, even if he's not hungry!

Tink, if you can get the £59 rooms at the Hoxton Hotel I think that would be a really good bargain. I've never stayed here, but it's really funky inside, super reviews and Old street where its located is very good for going out, lots of pubs and restaurants, great travel links.

Ah the pies is really sneaky, I hate them too - NIM loves them, so by giving him them for lunch I don't have to put up with them and he thinks I'm great because he gets a big wedge of pie!

You do realise NIM will read that and your secret will be found out!

Warning Old Street underground has the Northern Line (Bank Branch) only running through it. You can get to Angel very easily but if you want to go anywhere else then you have to get down to Moorgate on tube or by foot. You might want to consider somwhere with a secondary tube connection if you are going to be using the underground.

True, but your sneeky ways will be discovered.

Just been to dentist and been told I need a trip to the hygienist. So £51.05 in total - lucky have to pay in advance and the receipts are dated today so have put the whole claim into BUPA. Don't go to the hygienist till next month.

Dinah! I've just been mooching around on the wedding thread and saw this idea, it's a tree where you get your guests to stamp and sign their thumb print- you ask them to 'leaf' their mark!

Since you're arty, you might be able to do something like this? Might have to find an arty friend who could help me draw a tree like this on canvas to use at our reception!

That's a nice unusual idea! ha ha, 'leaf' your mark :)

Has anyone read the moral dilemma from the email? I have mixed feelings about the subject: i do get OP's point, but he seems like a bit of a git tbh! I wouldn't move in with him!

Had a little look at it Poddle and I'd say that the GF should pay half the bills but not rent per se. It does seem tight, next he'll say that he charges her mileage whenever they go out in the car!
