awww Dinah, sorry your knee has been messing you around, you seemed to be doing so well-i suppose thats the problem with things like that, you think you're getting better so you sort of start trying to get back to normal, and then it comes back with a vengence! I'm really impressed with how much you've managed to get done whilst its been a problem though, you've not let it get you down. And how nice of NIM to go round the wedding fair!
Cinny-how nice of your boyfriend to treat you! I've been following your blog and its great, you've got such a talent for it i think-you're very wittyMortgage free wannabe #124

Aw shucks Sunshine - Thanks!I'm getting close to 100 followers now, exciting! Doing a post tonight about Victorian Beauty though, which should be interesting.
Decided with all the sunny-weather when I got up this morning I'd dress for it. And when I get outside it's -6! Hmph, I can't win!0 -

Ooh could you post the link again pretty pleasewould like to have a look.
Im not at work until this afternoon but trying to be really quiet as OH didnt get home from work until 2:30 this morning. So all in all he worked 74 hours last week.
Poor thing is exhausted, hes doing another 12 hour shift later.
Hows the knee this morning Dinah?Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Goshh, are your OHs working hours even legal?! I'm sleepy just at the thought of working that many hours - he sounds like a trooper!
It is legal if you want to do the hours, but to say he is willing wouldnt exactly being accurate. He doesnt really have much choice in the matter, the kitchen is understaffed so hes working more hours in there, but also has all his management paperwork etc to do aswell.
To top it off he has a chest infection aswell. So letting him sleep as long as possible before he goes to work today.
Definitely thinking he deserves a treat when he gets paid!
Your blog is sooo cute CinnyBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Morning All,
Having a quiet day, should really go and clean the car while the weather is nice but no in the mood today as need to get some of the housework done ready for next weekend.
I have managed to get 2 more doo yoo reviews done so hopefully they rack up some ratings as they plod through.0 -
aww bless flower! you and wendz with busy working boys this week! does he at least get paid for all of this extra time? That would be a good boost maybe but I hope he feels better soon!
I'm trying to get OH into saving at the mo but I dont think hes keen. More just laziness and not appreciating that it will be good for the future really, and he cant find his little online banking thing!! Ah well!!0 -

Yes he gets paid hourly rather than a salary so will get quite a bit more when he gets paid on Friday - think thats the only thing keeping him going at the minute!
He is also due a £150 bonus although not sure when he will get that though.
Hes managed to rota himself down for 56 hours this week which is slightly better, but depends if anyone calls in sick etc... as they are so understaffed he ends up covering sickness instead of doing his paperwork!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Can't he even get anybody temporary Flower?
He better becareful he doesn't work himself into over tiredness then he won't be able to work.
He is still legally allowed 11 hours away from work between shifts.0 -
Sorry to hear your knee is bad again Dinah. How's long's it been now?!
I hope your OH is feeling better Flower, you don't want him working so hard when he's not feeling well. At least he's 'only' rota'd in for 56 hours this week! Is there are light at the end of the tunnel or is he going to be working like this for the forseeable future?
Cinny, I am following your blog but I'm not an official follower, not quite sure how to do it! It's saved in my favourites though, I love it!
OH was off ill 4 days last week and it was so nice coming home to him every day and spending the evening together (especially as dinner was cooked and waiting for me!), I've really missed him since he went back to work, but I didn't realise how much! The plan now is for me to get a super well paid job so he can work part time in the mornings doing something he enjoys (like gym instruction) and be a house husband in the afternoons! It'll never work the other way around since I'm useless at housework and I'll lose my afternoons to daytime tv! Hmmm... wonder if it'll ever be possible?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
