yeah I found driving outside of lessons the best thing ever, even if it was just driving to tesco or parking a billion times in a car park!!
sooo what ya getting your bf?! I think its lovely that you spoil him!0 -
Bummer about the laptop Lulu, it's not an excuse to not do any reviews though, pull your finger out girl, you're so close to payout!
Cinny, I wish you were my girlfriend, you're so lovely!Although how cute is your OH to be buying you presents on his birthday!
Wendz, it's nice to hear that your friend has had her baby now, she was as bad as CMD for holding on!
Tink, hope you get into the swing of your dissertation this weekend! The reason I decided against uni is that there is no way I'd have been able to sit down and write mega essays about boring things! I have no self motivation!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Oh come on, its a pretty good excuse!
:rotfl:
I will attempt to write one on here, but its more frustrating than anything!
Plus, i havent got Word, only notepad, so does anybody know of a decent online spelling/grammer checker? I've looked but the ones i've found dont work for under 50 words, free trials or you have to pay.
Its taking ages to read peoples reviews as well. Sorry, i'm just in a moany mood!0 -
Good afternoon all. Thanks for all the lovely well wishes. I will put my birth story on my thread when I get the chance to type it up. It was a long labour but am getting over it already. Am wrecked but have great back up from OH and my Mum. My Dad arrives tomorrow and am excited to see him too.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Glad you are doing well CMD.
Cinny - sounds like you are going to spoil your OH. Wasn't very nice of his friend to not pay his way on your OHs birthday!
I am down in Southampton now, had the afternoon off so drove down and am off to see my friends little sisters band tonight.0 -
Evening all!
How's it going with dyed hair Cinny? I'm slightly tempted, but not brave enough to go for it myself! Do you have any plans for your birthday? It's only 20 days away! I'm getting excited!!
Lulu I hope you manage to get the laptop sorted, how annoying!
Tink I feel for you with the dissertation - I'm only doing an essay and it's driving me mad! Hope it gets easier for you.
Dinah - I'm thinking of buying one of your prints (the same one that Cinny bought, it's gorgeous!) but just need to wait til I get paid! I was just wondering, what with it being a print, is it like hardback or soft. Like, would you be able to put it straight up? And is it matte or shiny? Does that make sense?! Sorry!

Ooo well back online and in the new house!!! Yay! We are so pleased. It's *amazing* not having to share with anyone, and we have so much house to run about it. The move went well in the end, so far we have unpacked the living room and the bedroom a bit. We have got hardly any furniture though (strange as we seemed to have loads in our old place) so we'll have to wait a while to get it all sorted.
So so happy for you CMD, looking forward to reading your birth story, and hope it wasn't too traumatic. :j
Dinah - I love the print that Cinny bought, absolutely fab.
Lulu - come on girl you've been doing amazingly well, keep the faith. I just ordered my first ever dooyoo Amazon voucher woohoo!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

Hey Zig, no rush, it'll still be there. It's soft, basically a piece of photo paper. It's shiny too. But it is a standard size, and therefore would fit in a standard 10" x 8" frame which you can buy for about £2+ in Tesco or wherever. Another alternative is that the image can be printed onto canvas, 30cm x 40cm for about £27, so around $60 plus extra postage, but thats obviously a hugely expensive option compared to buying a frame but it does make for much more of a focal point to a room.
Looks like we might be able to repair NIMs car at least, just needs rear brake shoes which are about £60. Dad is going to take mine out this afternoon to try to work out whats up with it and then we'll know if mine is repairable too.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

at least thats some good news about the car. Any idea when you'll be back at work or is it still just a case of waiting for consultants and the pain to go away etc?!0
