I really enjoyed it and read it in a day (being the celebrity gossip junkie I am). I never knew they were that famous either AND I didn't realise they continued singing after they fell out of the charts, playing all the holiday clubs etc...
I read Shane's autobiography a few years back and I dare say there were a few women that Colleen hadn't known about until he read his. I felt really sorry for her.Start Date: 27/11/2010

Pinch Punch first of the month debts update!
Last month I said: I’ve got £2750 outstanding on the Tesco credit card
£3585.40 on Loan 1 (Natwest – 26 payments left)
£5201.68 on Loan 2 (A&L – 21 payments left
£6493.92 on Loan 3 (Natwest – I think approximately 48 or 49 payments left)
£18031
(although thanks to some added charges and Tesco taking a payment once the item had been dispatched rather than at the time of the purchase my credit card DEBT was nearer £2800 last month but lets not quibble)
This month:
£2743.74 on the Tesco credit card
£3447.50 on Loan 1
£4965.24 on Loan 2
£6386.14 on Loan 3
£17542.62
A reduction of £488.38
However it is with dismay I thought I had only 23 payments on Loan 1 left but dividing it up with the monthly payment makes it 25 payments (BOOHOO) but there's definitely only 21 payments left on Loan 2, so once that's done, I shall snowball that payment onto Loan 1 and make the !!!!!! finish in 23 months!!!!Start Date: 27/11/2010

HI IF, I've always loved your username, makes me smile!:)
I read your whole diary last night and it's just as well I was by myself as I was giggling out loud so much! I love your approach and I should be tackling all the areas you are! I fell off the WW wagon long ago and somehow landed in a pile of chocolate that needed eating. My house that needs decluttering bigtime; I've got rid of a few bits but need to take a leaf out of your book. Which reminds me - am always meaning to read my hundreds of books...:o I'm having a little success on the frugal front (trying to reduce costs to pay off my loans quicker) but lots of room for improvement.
I think I will have to appoint you as my guru!
Well done on all your achievements so far. :TTrying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Took five library books back to the library and came home with eight! I got a big buzz - it was like going into a shop but all FREEEEEE!! (although doesn't answer the question on how I will get my own millions of books read). They're all autobiographies, which I can get through in no time. I'm such a nosy moo I love reading about other people's lives. I'll keep you informed....I don't know which one to read first!
I've had a bit of a financial jiggle round. I had savings here there and everywhere but I have amalgamated them into three pots now, all linked to my bills account.
1. Car (repairs, insurance, MOT, breakdown Cover, Service).
2. Gifts (replaces £365 in 365 / Christmas 2010 account)
3. Everything Else Savings
Car Fund has £1077 in it, and gifts has £33. Everything else has nothing in it (whoops) and my car insurance is due next month and although I haven't had my renewal notice yet the cheapest I can find elsewhere is £563 so car fund wont have £1077 in it for much longer, although I do have overtime and mileage in my next wage to look forward to.
Re the gifts account, I am going to continue PAD-ing into it (eg budget £1 per day for DS1 bus fare, but if I collect him, then the £1 goes into a PAD) and put mystery shopping wages in there towards Xmas, but I'm also going to try and put £25 per month in there for birthdays as that seems to be my largest outgoing by far out of my everything else money.
Not entirely sure how I am going to save up in the Everything Else money, unless I have money left at the end of the month (like last month's £107). Not even sure what the Everything Else savings are for? I guess it's stuff like Household repairs, or when I run out of money before the end of the month?
Also I need help with my budget headings - at the moment as you know, in my monthly budgets I have 'everything else' but in there is so many things. I don't know what headings I should have? Eg should I have one for my own personal spendings, or should I have 'clothes / shoes' and count it as family spendings? I am just so confused.
I think I am going to go overdrawn this month because DS2's birthday is on Thursday (7) and then DH's birthday is on Sunday. DS2 wants WWE toys (Argos) so I'm being a bit sneaky and asking relatives for money so we can buy them, so hopefully he will get enough for a big ring / figures and I can get away with just putting £15-£20 towards it.
Also have worked out that I CAN pay my Tesco CC and DH's college fees out of my wages without dipping into savings but then this only leaves me with £138 everything else money for the month, that's with reducing groceries from £280 to £250!!!Start Date: 27/11/2010

Wow, you're really an inspiration! I'm off to sort out the cupboards in my kitchen, and THEN get started on my own diary which I think I'm going to start today for the new month! Perfect timing.
Also, just messaged a bunch of people on Facebook! Didn't realise OnePoll had bumped that up to 10. Nice~0
