I got soem once not noticing the fry only instructions and they were fine and dandy done in the oven. £1 is worth experimenting with.
  • went in yesterday and hovis is still 2 for a pound. someone else posted about their loo rolls and they are really good, not used them before but you would think they were twice the price they are

Will definitely be paying FF a visit this week to stock especially if the quorn is only £1. I go through lots of it so will save me lots.

I'd be interested to hear how wide the range they stock is if you do go as I'm planning a future visit for the same reasons, once I have some space in my freezer! :)

3 tins of heinz soup for £1, the 400g size ones not the little ones, I got all tomato but there was also vegetable too. Also got 2x2L milk for £1.50 great buy as I use loads of milk (thanks for posting about the milk can't remember who it was) Also was mentioned about the Hovis bread being 2 for £1 but you can mix and match with some other items, rolls, plain bread (although this could maybe only be in Scotland) , pancakes, potato scones. Cadburys Crunchie only 19p!

To take advantage of their £2.50 off £25 purchase Grumpy and I stocked up on milk, fruit juice, spuds, toilet rolls, kitchen towel at the weekend, so I also treated us to their £9.50 full leg of lamb, must say very nice, it served 6 adults plus some left over for a stew. They also have tubs of different 100's&1000's cake toppings for £1 these were £1.99 I think in Tesco.

Im a recent farmfoods convert I was pleasantly surprised.

I stock up on the bags of frozen natural fish (haddock, salmon, cooked king prawns) and find them better quality than tescos own and youngs. the prawns are amazing they have real bite and tend not to shrink on cooking.

Also nicky toilet roll (9 rolls £2) and kitchen roll (2 rolls £1) as mentioned.

    Bread 2 loaves for £1.50

    Vimto cordial £1.

I got 2 x packs of 9, and to be honest, I'm not impressed, without going into details ;) I find Costco Kirkland Brand much much better :(
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
  • In mine today they had 3 tins of Heinz tomato soup or 3 veg for £1.
Also Bernard Matthews turkey slices 300 grms about 15 slices for £2.

2 x hovis best of both for £1
    2 x semi skimmed 2l milk for £1.50
1kg Tilda Long Grain Rice for £1

Almost a weekly ritual now in farmfoods. Had never shopped in there before last month and it's brilliant - these three along probably save us £4-5 v the local tesco.
