We also discovered the Nicky toilet rolls a few months ago and they are excellent. I recently bought some supermarket luxury own brand ones and they were so rough in comparison!

They also sell Nicky in homebargains

About once a month, I get a leaflet put through my door advertising Farmfoods. In that leaflet is a £2.50 off a £25 spend, or £5 off a £50 spend. You get 2 of each voucher. So if they deliver in your area, watch out for them, then get a further discount off your shopping.

I agree, that Nicky toilet roll is good quality and value. Their pure orange is also good quality and value at 50p. Their 2l bottle of tango is 75p so also good value. Their normal price for a 2l carton of milk is £1, but being a single household don't think I'll take their £1.50 offer.

Another good offer I like, is 3 garlic baguettes for £1. It is supposed to be 2, but they have a 50% extra free on the packaging, but they've had that deal for as long as I can remember.

The loo roll is fab and the kitchen roll isnt too bad either .
The oven chips are nice and cook quickly.
Robinsons squash 2l is good value too.
The frozen veg is ok including peppers and mushrooms (handy for hm pizza)
The frozen apples are handy for crumble and work out cheaper than fresh in most cases.
Im not keen on the chicken breast slices mentioned above as I got a piece of bone and it put me of :(
The chicken Goujons in batter are ok though (nice with a sweet and sour sauce)
The ww ready meals are good value ( 5 for £4 ) but not much of a selection )

I've taken to doing a shop crawl for bargains at the weekends and was disappointed when I thought I couldnt get the car to go in the snow. Kids and I decided to walk and bring it back on the sledge as I didnt want to miss my bargains.

Nicky toilet roll as above - had no complaints
Bread - Hovis and at 2 for £1.50 cheaper than the supermarket 'deals'
Fromage frais choobs or something for £1 - cheaper than marked price
Milk - £1 for 2 litres cheaper than supermarkets
Raw King Prawns as already mentioned above are excellent
Bags of large prawns cooked - good value £4.95
Tuna steaks, Cod, haddock etc all have been good
Chicken breasts uncooked in a bag (cant remember price or size) but are excellent, larger and meatier than big supermarkets
Potatoes - 2 large bags for £1, make lovely roasties
Eggs - I use for cooking and cheaper than value brands
Legs of lamb - used to be a lot cheaper than they are now but roast up lovely
Own brand 4 min yorkshire puds - no complaints compared to Aunt Bessie and far superior to ones I can make :o
Sugar (Tate & Lyle I think) about 25 - 30p cheaper for a 2lb/1k bag or whatever the size is now
Back Bacon Frozen (16 or 18 rashers not sure) £2.50
Pilgrims choice grated cheese small bags not sure of weight 45p each, thrown in freezer
Frozen pastry puff and shortcrust 79p each, not sure of comparison with supermarkets

I now tend to go there first then go on to the others

ETA - I have Never found their uncooked chicken breasts tough and they cooked up beautifully
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

I agree with the bread and milk being bargain buys as well as pepsi in small or the large bottles.

The frozen carrotts seem a very unnatural colour even when cooked so would avoid them.

Big blue boxes of misshape biscuits (£2 I think) are all cadbury/foxs types inside. Usually lots of Rocky bars in there and quite good value I think.

They also sell foxs rich tea cremes 3 for £1

Lgr pack (450g?) back bacon less than £3 if my memory serves me correctly. Use this a lot

Leg of Lamb 1.7kg £8.97 tho the price as stated keeps rising

watch with the frozen chicken breasts as they contain so much more salt than fresh ones to preserve them

    I lurve FarmFoods!!

Agree with the Nicky brand toilet roll (quilted and, I believe, "lotioned"!) - really nice to use and excellent value.

Agree also with the milk and bread deals - better than supermarkets.

I particularly love FF as my son works there and gets a 15% staff discount (very generous, I believe) off their already low low prices!!

Why do they add salt? I though freezing was a perfect way to preserve without salt?
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
