FARMFOODS - What's hot and what's not?

As we have a similar thread for Aldi and Lidl I thought it may be a good idea to have one for Farmfoods.

Our nearest one is about 6 miles away but as we have a Tesco, Lidl. Aldi, Sainsburys, Morrisons within a 4 mile radius I have never bothered to go out of my way to shop at Farmfoods.

What are the best buys especially the frozen stuff, is it worth a visit folks?

chicken breast chunks in big bags are good. And I like the mini frozen waffles for the kids. I haven't bought much from their lately but always used to get the chip shop jumbo fish in beer batter and that was really good value. Not one that near to us and my freezer is always full!
    3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

From this Sunday (3rd Jan) they will have an offer on milk - 2 x 2 litres of fresh milk for £1.50. The deal includes whole milk, semi-skimmed and The One.

Can't remember the name of it but toilet rolls are 9 for £2, quilted and strong. Also 2 huge kitchen rolls for £1, same brand and very thick and strong. I always stock up. Other thing I always buy there is orange juice at 50p a litre (2 for £1), they do apple as well.

I buy these as well infact the toilet paper is fantastic quality and much cheaper than named brands - I believe it is 'Nicky' they also do 4 rolls for £1, I second the kitchen paper as well.

I have taken to shopping at Farmfoods and Lidl (as in Ilford they are next door to each other), I buy the 3 bags of chicken breast, £4.50 a bag or 3 fr £10 in my last 3 bags I had 16 chicken breast, no waste as they are boneless and skinless! I also like their pre-grated cheese for £1.50 it does not seem powdery like others, Robinsons special r 2 litres for £1.19. They have not had them for a couple of weeks now but did have 4 boxes of lemon and slime jaffa cakes for £1

I go into Farmfoods for the bread offer, Hovis 2 for £1.50, I also love their jumbo raw king prawns. These are £4.95 for a 750g bag. I find these great value for money as they are really tasty and meaty. And even though the £4.95 seems a lot at first, its a huge bag.
