I thought I would get this going. It isn't really a recipe but yesterday I invented a delicious lunch for one from leftovers. I had some Yorkshire pudding mix left over from Sunday and I made a pancake with it. I also had a small amount of left over roast veg (potato, sweet potato, squash, leek). I cut that up quite small and warmed it in the microwave and put it into the pancake, grated a tiny amount of cheese over it and rolled it up. I ate it with a small side salad and it was yummy. I think I will keep some batter back every Sunday! I am going to get out a cookbook I got for Christmas last year; Rachel Allens quick food and choose something healthy to make this month.0

I'd like to take part in this! I am always printing recipes off to make and then not actually making them. Today I am fairly impressed with myself as I have made some bread using leftover mashed potato! It's still in the oven atm, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's nice. I've been wanting to try this recipe for a while, so I'm glad to have finally got around to it.0

I made this the other day and added a large flat mushroom I had lurking about.
It was absolutely delicious.

Oops sorry it's a pasta bake!:rotfl:Here dead we lie because we did not choose

I really want to join and try making a new recipe every week as I have so many cookbooks. Last week I made a new recipe from The New Vegetarian kitchen, which was goats cheese and spring veg pasta - it was amazing. This week I'm making Ainsley Harriott's turkey & leek pies (recipe online) as I bought YS turkey breast yesterday and frozePart time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
