I have a slight addiction to cookery books (particularly the gorgeous chef ones think James and Jamie :)) which i adoring peruse then put back on the shelf and head for my usual meal of chilli  I also have 2 lever arch files of recipes carefully clipped from magazines.

Each week I am going to cook at least one thing I have never cooked before and challenge my skills as a cook (from a fairly low base i have to say) and also to challenge my tastebuds to try some different things.

Anyone wanna join in and we can share our experiences?

I too have the "celeb" chef cook book addiction.

I've been meaning to do the "new dish every week" too.

    Can I join:D

Evening all. Could I please join your challenge. Me and DH were saying only this morning that we always have the same meals and we(I) need to cook a new meal once a week/fortnight. Will let you know what I pick for this week.
Mind you on Boxing Day I did make a turkey and ham pie which was delicious. I got the recipe of the internet, I think it was Allrecipes, not sure.
