Both went down very well, although DOH said he would have preferred risotto as a side with a huge steak
I hope the links work okay

My recipe was a partial success. I think I cooked it at too high a temperature, and as a result, it caramelised more than it should. It was completely delicious ... but it was also black! Not the most appetising of colours. I will make it again, though, as we liked how it tasted, and next time get the timing right.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

What were the smoked salmon fishcakes like as it seems like an awful lot of smoked salmon - 600g, 1.1kg of fish for 8 fishcakes to feed 4.0 -
I've never made savoury muffins before so tried these cheese and vegetable muffins
I had no courgette so used 2 cups of carrot. It lacked some flavour so next time I will make it with some sweated onions and strong cheddar. Shouldn't have used the mild cheddar.0 -

Evening all! Hope everyone is having a good weekend. On Friday I made duck and plum sauce pancakes, except Mr T didn't have any chinese pancakes to had to buy tortillas! Today I made a Fish Pie and Sweetcorn Cakes. All of which I really liked, sweetcorn cakes I thought could have done with a bit of seasoning, but were nice anyway. 2 DD's didn't like, DD2 liked the sweetcorn cakes, but DD1 looked like the food was going to jump off the plate and bite her!!!
Tried to insert photo but can't work out how to do it!!Need to sort my life out! :T0
