Just sorted my cartridges, I have 4 to go and it should get me £12.50 :T
Can't remember when they pay into accounts as they used to pay by cheque but hopefully it will be here in time for this months challenge payment0 -
My Lightspeed money has gone into my account now so that is another £15 to Paypal credit card.
Total to pay by 1/10 - £96.87 :T
On the downside DH and I went to the dentist the other day, £16.50 each for a check up. I need 1 filling, DH needs 5 and 1 extraction . You can guess who paid for the check ups!!!
Car should be in Autotrader today so hoping we might get some calls this weekend.0 -
Hi, I'm back.
Life unfortunately has gotten in the way.
I have had my filling done which cost £29.10, DH is going this Friday for one of his - I assume he will pay for this as he gets paid then.
I received an Amazon voucher from a survey site so have used this to buy an ink cartridge and transferred the £10 from the household account to my Paypal credit card so total to pay by 1/10 = £86.87.
Not sure if I am going to make this challenge as I am so skint and I have the hen weekend coming up and DH has a stag weekend which he probably can't afford!!
I have been reading Memory Girls thread and have got her book for my DS, I'm going to read it first then give it to DS - I want to do some colouring in first.
I have also been emailed an e copy of The Secret so hopefully everything will turn around for me.
I have had one piece of good luck, I needed to get DD some school jumpers as her's have holes in. The PTA are selling some second hand uniform on Friday but I am at work so was going to email the organiser to see if she can save me some items but then I checked Freecycle and someone has 2 jumpers which I can collect later this week. This will save me some money and I will take round some fresh eggs. Maybe this is the Universe at work in some small way???

Balances as per statements:
Barclaycard - £7642.59
Amazon - £2279.44
Abbey - £752.46
Paypal - £370.23
Total - £11044.72
Reduction - £46.63
My minimum payments totalled £227.56 so only a quarter of that is actually towards the debt, the rest is interest
I am due to hand my CRB check in the school catering assistant job tomorrow so hopefully that will be back after I come back from holiday and then I can start.
Will have to do a budget tomorrow as so skint and need to pay lots of bills.
Will try to pay the rest of my challenge by 1/10 still.

Just checked my bank account and I had £21.49 left when my pay went in today.
Now I know I need this for bills and the holiday but I will have to muddle through.
So I have transferred £21.49 to my Paypal card so £65.38 to find by 1/10
I can do this - positive thinking all the way!!!0 -
Well 2 good things to report for a change.
I have been doing the Slimming World plan for just over two weeks now, the first week I lost 3lb and the 2nd week I lost 3lb. Next weigh in is Saturday. Hope I have lost at least 1lb as that will be half a stone although you can't really notice much difference yet.
3 weeks to Ibiza!!! :j:j:j
Also I think I am managing my illness of procrastination :rotfl:. This time of year is renewal time for the committee I am on and usually I leave it all to the last minute and don't keep up to date.
Last week I did committee work for 2 afternoons and got completely up to date. I did some more on Monday but then realised I had no big envelopes so brought those yesterday. Wasn't able to sort work today as mystery shopping and tomorrow I have my friends boy so will have to be Sunday or Monday.
But it feels so good to be on top of things.
Now I know what a great feeling it is I am trying to deal with paperwork as it comes in which means less paperwork hanging around the dining table!!
Yay me :T0 -
Last day tomorrow for my challenge - have got £22.52 in my account before Tax Credits goes in so have paid this to Paypal card - hopefully will be able to find £42.86 before the end of tomorrow.
Now much to report here apart from I am skint, there is not enough in the household account to buy oil so I am going to have to pay it with my credit card
Have loads going on for October so not sure how I can pay much to my debts but have just asked for a payout from Pure Profile.

was wondering where you'd got to...you are doing brilliantly with your debts..not long for your holiday now.0

Hi Taxi, good to see you keeping well.
Thanks for popping in.
I have been busy NOT procrastinating and actually getting on with things - I know it's a shock for someone like me.
All my subscribed diaries come through by email so I rarely come on the site although I am thinking about entering competitions, hopefully I can do some each day and more on my days off.
I want to win like FF does (stamps foot) so I can sell the items to pay off the debts.
Holiday is 2 weeks away, DH has 1 week until the stag weekend so it's busy, busy busy!!

Hi :hello:
I'm back!!!
Had a fab time in Ibiza - very cheap, would appear it worked out cheaper than the stag's who did 2 nights in this country with associated stag things even though we did 4 days!!
Did not come on before I went, was having a right downer as didn't really have enough money to go with. Turned out ok in the end although I have not paid Barclaycard and now they keep ringing, will be able to pay it on Friday.
Need to get back in the swing of money saving, will redo budgets over the next few days and see where we go from here.
DH sold his car yesterday so money should be in the bank today, he is paying off some of his highest interest card which will leave a balance of £2500 and he has just been given an Egg card @ 0% so can transfer this and then close card.
By rights he should have some spare money each month and he says he will start to save it or pay off his credit card - I wait with bated breath for this.
My CRB check has come through for Catering Assistant job so hopefully the supervisor will ring me in the next few days so I can start earning some money.
DS' school are looking for exam invigilators now that the school do exams all year round. Will get application pack as pay is a little bit less than what I earn in my normal job.
Also logged on to Butlins Bingo to find that I am not allowed to play the free scratch card because I have not deposited. I assume everyone else is in the same boat but I have not yet read their diaries.
Must start posting more regularly - just worried someone might spot me from real life!!
