  • Well the bikes are Raleigh so very good quality. Must make sure we get lots of use out of them.

DH has been to the doctor today who has said he must up his exercise - well actually just start would be good :rotfl:
DH is convinced that we should do a 50 mile bike ride for charity in May - I'm all for it if it encourages DH to have some exercise.

Listed some tat on ebay last weekend, they finished this weekend - still waiting for people to pay. I thought I had done so well, selling old toys etc but no DD has cottoned on that some of the stuff is hers so she wants the money. I told her she can wrap everything and take it to the PO - suddenly she has had a change of heart!! :rotfl:

So the agreement now is 50/50 after fee's especially as I am the one who listed them, who has wrapped them and who will take them to the PO.

Hopefully will see £25 or so ready for my credit card :)

Not much else has happened today, been to work not spent anything except parking of £3.80 and oh yeah spent the evening wrapping ebay tat!!

I don't want to brag but I told you all......

Relative mentioned that while I was out today he had received a phone call from one of his son's (the youngest). He tells relative that oldest son has spent all his money so is not very happy, he then admits that he is down to his last £600

So they got the money approx 18th May and in 6.5 months they have both spent £37,000

Obviously they can't have benefits because they will be suspicious of where the money has gone in such a short space of time - goodness knows what they are going to live on.

Oldest son has spent his money mainly on alcohol, he has paid off all his boyfriends debts and a few of his own. Plus he brought a car which he now can't drive as he has been banned from driving.

Youngest son has brought all new white goods, like an American Fridge Freezer - in a council house!!! He also upgraded his car to a newer Mercedes - I'm gonna love to see where the money comes from to get that fixed when the time comes!!

Relative is very gutted, he was hoping the money would last at least 2 years and would hopefully get them both started in jobs etc. Alas that has not happened so everything relative has worked for is down the drain
He is also worried that they are going to start pestering him for money like they used to - he has told them that all his money is gone but not sure whether they believe him. Hopefully him being so far away will prevent this.

God I am so angry on his behalf but I told him it would happen :(

Will be back later with today's update.

  • Today I have done some audits, not very well paid when you consider the time taken to do the audit and then type up - never mind I shall know for next time.

Today has been a NSD except for ebay postage which is covered in Paypal so I will still count it. Waiting on a few more payers and then can divide the money up between daughter and I.

Have got another mystery shop to do tomorrow for an increased fee so is definitely worth it.

Told DH about his half-brothers, obviously he is not surprised but is still gutted for relative.

Not much else going on except DH has applied for a Vanquis card for the business :mad::eek::mad:
I have told him the business does not need credit etc but he will not listen, I forsee a talk is needed about where the business is going as I am feeling like I might just step back and let him do it all.

Well that is for another day.

  • Didn't have time to come on yesterday.

Yesterday I did a mystery shop for an increased fee, collected my butchered lambs, sold 1, then I went to the library to collect some books - had to pay a fee of 72p as some books were overdue . Came home and niece came round while her parents went xmas shopping.

I used to think my children were naughty etc but after she has been round I always think they are angels compared to her :rotfl:

So my spends were £1.55 for a pasty after I finished my mystery shop, 75p on some Ribena, 25p for a double decker.

The costs of the lambs is not counted as that is a business expense.

Then of course there is the library fine  of 72p.

Neice was here until 9pm so then we all bathed and went to bed - I really miss MSE :rotfl:

Today I have work but need to sort some cheques out and buy cat food so will have to spend some money.

  • So on Friday I went to work all day, had to buy milk and cat food but won't count that as a spend as it comes out of grocery pot.

Had panto in the evening, only a village one, it was hilarious one of the cast kept forgetting his words so the director is calling out his words - apparently he is renowned for this - but he is 76 so we will let him off!!!

Yesterday daughter had party but had got present last week while I was at the Post Office so no spend yesterday either. Had to get more shoping but again from grocery pot.

Then last night something really random happened. Old lady knocked on our door asking if we knew where a certain house was - had no idea then she said it was Mrs Budworth. I apologised that I had no idea but could check on the computer.
Managed to find property on google maps, turns out it is in the next village which is quite spread out so a different route to the one the lasy took. Gave the lady directions, she was very happy - she never came back so I assume she found it.

Sat down to tea and thought that I had heard of the name Budworth but couldn't place it.

Then it came to me, Mrs Budworth is the owner of The Lady which has been in the papers recently due to the editor (Boris Johnson's sister - Rachel) trying to sex it up. Obviously Mrs Budworth is very traditional so doesn't agree. I knew she lived in our county because I had seen it mentioned in the articles. I just had no idea that it was only 1 mile away!!!

Other random act from last week was relative finding a property for sale in the paper and mentioning that we should think of buying it . Hmmm clearly he thinks I am wealthier than I am - I mean the house was only £500,000+ :rotfl:
This goes against what he said recently when I mentioned that once we have a farm we can get a dog - to which he replied that it would not be in his life time. Clearly since he said that I have won the lottery!!

Definitely going to sort my bank account today and make some payments to my smallest credit card to see if I can clear it by my birthday.

  • So I did want to get under £10,000 for my 30th but realistically it isn't going to happen because my debt stands at £10,800+ plus I have my car repairs to pay which DH put on his card - £934

So I will have a mini target to pay off my Paypal credit card by Xmas. At the moment it stands at £279.00 although a statement is due any day now.

I have just made a payment of £132.66 to it. This is:

    Mystery Shopping - £55.16
    Survey Money - £6.00
    2nd job - £71.50.

Which makes £146.34 to pay. Think I should manage that.

I have some Paypal money winging it's way to my account next week although have to share some with my daughter plus there must be other money due :rotfl:

  • I knew I had spoken too soon, it is official my husband is a !!!!!!:eek::mad::eek::mad::eek:

So for some reason this morning I thought I would check his emails (not sure why, haven't checked them for at least a month :rotfl:) and I find an email to a girl about dirty panties

To say I am annoyed is an understatement

This could possible be the end of the marriage, he says he can't help it, when he gets extra depressed he does things like this and he doesn't know why

I'm sorry but clearly he wants to be found out otherwise he would have deleted the emails wouldn't he? You would have thought all the times he has been found out he would learn to be secretive .

Either he is thick as !!!!!! or he gets a kick out of hurting me

Sometimes I wish I hadn't checked his emails because now my 30th birthday is ruined :mad:. It is unlikely we will be back to normal in a few weeks so what a great start to my thirties :mad::mad: but then I thought maybe it is a new start for me.

I can't believe it, I could cry (but I won;t, he has hurt me too muchin the past I don't think I have any tears left) we had been getting on so well and we were almost back to normal (well how we were at the start of our marriage).

Then we have our 10th wedding anniversary in a few months, he has been going on for ages about renewing our vows, I have previously told him that I would never do that as it would be a farce when we have problems like ours.
I was going to book a nice hotel in London (where we went for our 1st wedding anniversary) but I can't see the point of wasting money - if we are still together. If we have split up then of course we are going nowhere anyway :mad:

    :eek::mad::eek::mad:

Hope the smilies show my anger/frustration etc

What an !!!!. There are days that I wish my OH would do something like this so I'd have a concrete reason for walking away. On the brightside you are only 30 and there is a heck of a lot of life left ahead of you. Do you really want to spend the next decade putting up with this? Only you can decide..... if only I could follow my own suggestions my life would be so much clearer. As it is its like wading through mud hoping that this is yet another temporary blip. ((hugs)) whatever happens we're here for you. Crappy timing though.
