  • Oh EE I have just caught up with your diary.

Firstly a belated Happy Christmas and Happy birthday.

Secondly your ex is a complete and utter ar**h0**, I would like to say I cannot Believe how utterly selfish and pathetic he is but having read your diary for many years and knowing how he has treated you I am not surprised.

Your children need to know the truth, maybe not the ins and outs of everything in detail, but they need to know that HE is the one that has done all of this to the family, you have covered up for him and saved his !!! from so many situations but now its time he stood on his own 2 feet and people see him in his own true light including his children.

You are an incredibly strong amazing lady that has had to deal with so much over the years, let 2019 be about you and what you want, it's time for you to put yourself first and do what you want to do.

Happy New Year lovely lady xx
  • Thank you for all the birthday wishes and the comments.

My birthday was good, I was at home with my son and then later on DD and STBEXH popped in, I was in bed by 7pm as not feeling 100%

I have spent quite a bit of time crying since Xmas Eve, I know I'm hormonal but it dawned on me today that I haven't taken my Agnus Castus for over 3 weeks - no wonder I'm crying a lot - started them today so in a day or 2 I shouldn't be as emotional!!!

I've been reading some old posts on here, I may post a couple of things that really stood out for me....I'm so pleased I managed to make the break this year.

I'm all set for 2019 and will be starting a new diary on 1st Jan which will be my own debt busting journey rather than a joint debt busting journey that never happened.
This time any debt repayment is all my doing and no one else's with no one else to sabotage it.

Hope everyone has a good weekend
  • I also wonder whether my marriage will survive 2013 :(. DH and I are having problems and having posted on here about it all I have come to realise that what I thought was a controlling relationship from my side is actually me being controlled by him :(
When I think back the whole relationship has been built on manipulation (from his side) and guilt/fear (from my side) and this cannot continue.

Once relative has gone I will no longer feel responsible for him and therefore I can concentrate on my marriage and whether it should continue.

I have mentioned before about our destructive relationship - the problem is when things are good they are good and when they are bad they are so bad:(

    From 1st Jan 2013

Somehow I managed another 5 years....
  • I plan to tidy out the utility room, sell the tumble dryer, then DH can paint it (our boiler was faulty 18mths ago and chucked out loads of black soot over the ceiling and we have just left it:eek: - no-one goes in that room but us and we never need to look at the ceiling:rotfl:) and then my new laundry sorter can sit neatly under the counter that's already there.

    Late December 2014....

4 years later and the blinkin' utility room has still not been painted:mad::mad:

Well this year is the year that all the little bits and bobs get done as I will be doing them all myself and if I really cant then I will get in a man who can:rotfl:
