Just got back from an Inset day at school - very interesting - we were actually able to spend time on something we'd got training for in the morning and then got time to work on it throughout the rest of the time - brilliant!!

NOT going to let myself get overwhelmed with the amount of work, plus marking, I have to do - got to break it down and get on with it. *big deep breath*!!!

Now got to get to Payday on Tuesday. Bring it on.

Good luck with the work! Great that you had a useful INSET day.

I went to my oldest DDs' GCSE certificate evening last night (presentations were done by MC Harvey of So Solid Crew!). It feels like only yesterday they started at that school and now they have left... I thought of all the hundreds of hours of teaching they had had, and some of the teachers they will no doubt remember all their lives. Even though it is a very hard job, you teachers certainly make more impact than most of us.

    hi

Had a productive (for me ) evening so far. Planned out Sophia's birthday party, made lists of what needs to be bought & prepped for it (not much lol), written the invitations and also written 10 Christmas cards with extra notes in (plan was 10 this weekend). Now run out of Christmas cards, so the rest will wait anyway until I get paid.

ooh - and I got the stapleless eco-staplers through from maximiles :D So that's a stocking pressie for my mum and a token present for friend sorted :) Also got 2 x 5 pound amazon vouchers from 2 other survey sites I'd enough points to transfer from. So they'll be good, especially with the triple nectar points for amazon at the moment (although I only ever get them occasionally, it does mean occasionally I'm able to cash them in for a gift). AND I got my body wash to evaluate from another survey...

Reminds me WHY I spend hours answering surveys lol.
