Lol - can imagine the arguments!!! :)

With so many I gave one group appointments but the others I said just come when I'm free - we have to be open to see as many as possible, or the parents will complain and I can't triple book as that just gets even more confusing!

Ah well, sure it'll work out. One area I need to work on is memory!! I'm able to do most things well, I think anyway, but remembering names on a parents eve is not one of them!!

4 more books til the first set is done. How are your books coming on Buffy?

Beanie - got countless parents eves left for my two!! :)

oh no. Just spent a LONG time marking books that don't even have to be done for tomorrow, and realised with a chill that I have a bunch of unmarked assessments in my planner that have to be done by tomorrow period 1. I could weep.

Now, I've done a class that didn't have to be done, half a class that does and none of the class assessments that have to be done. More caffeine it is then.

It's all my own fault for not starting earlier and not working friday night and saturday during the day.

    !!!!!!!!.

  • Just so you know you aren't the only one. I have marked a set that technically could have gone another week........equally I should have started on the Fri/Sat. I hate that chill feeling.

    we will learn I promise!!

That must be really frustrating ref the books. but i can also understand if you are under a lot of pressure how easy a mistake it can be...

hope you manage to get things sorted.

I got told this trick. You say I am so sorry I have forgotten your name. the other person gets all huffy and says it John or whatever, and you say oh no not your first name your surname. This has worked for me a couple of time!

Lol! I think i'll take that idea!! :D

Sitting her with my coat and gloves on - heating fully on, but still very cold. Kids at karate and brownies - neither could be convinced not to go lol!! Sophia has swollen tonsils and ulcers all over them. She is happy to go to school though - should I just take her to the docs or send her to school??? The kids have swimming tomorrow night, which I am loathe to miss as it's so expensive and so I don't like not going!!!

    Hmm..going to search NHS online.

Made it to Payday - ok, so in DESPERATE need of more cat litter, but none of us went hungry!

Right - stuck on a seemingly endless survey, but going to finish it and continue with my assessments marking (didn't get them done). Also got half a set of books for tomorrow to do. All manageable.

Feeling a little down again - beginning to get wearing now. Earlyish night should help.
