End of the month update
Toluna - 52,095 points (80,000 needed for voucher)
Quidco - email received and £11.24 is on its way
Budgeting
Hopefully you can figure out the spreadsheet!
Budget column = Annual figures
Bud 2 dt = How much I should have spent at end of February
Spent and left columns should make sense, then months are noted.
Overspends mainly in:
1. Entertainment. I thought I was quite dull but turns out I have a social life
2. Toiletries. And by quite a long way :rotfl: All quality items which I will use a lot of, so very MSE. Honest :A
Good news:
Under budget by £50 in groceries, meaning we're spending £125 per month on food for us and the kittehs, which I'm quite impressed with. I had a budget of £250 per month when I first became a DFW, and used to think it wasn't possible to live on a budget like ours. We're eating better too!
Holiday budget will be over budget by the end of the year as I have spoken to my friend and we're doubling our contribution. We're going to watch the Olympics in 2012 and want to make sure we have an amazing time. We've saved £20 per month between us for years, and have almost £1000, so now we're upping the stakes
So, I'm only showing as green this month because I haven't had to pay council tax, and because the home insurance people haven't taken my payment. Maybe they're confused by February!
Overall I think I'm happy with this though as when I joined this site in November 2008 I didn't think I could only live on my wages, and I am proving that I can. Hurrah! Positive Fresian returns0 -
Your spreadsheet is really clever, easy to read and figure out - I like it! (especially all the green - am impressed)Start Date: 27/11/2010

Blimey. Under budget two months in a row. I am most definately impressed!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

I did get quite excited last night though when I realised that one of the figures wasn't feeding through. My picture is of the front sheet, but there are a bazillion tabs that feed information forward to that sheet. I was able to look at the formula and fix it. Mr F was very proud
Free bowling with my friends tonight, well apart from the whopping 50p fee. I was so excited I booked another game for next week. I'm also making a fritatta for tea tonight to use up Egg Mountain (Found posh eggs reduced from £1.69 for 6 to 15p, so bought 12 then thought "What the hell am I going to do to use all these?")0 -
Enjoy the bowing

Hooray, Fresian is back! And your figures look fab to me, you are doing fantastic. :T:T:T0

Evening all!
Well today has been quite Mondayish (at work anyway!) I also managed to somehow destroy the flapjacks I tried to make. Very disintegratey.... *I miss the confused smiley*
Free bowling was fun, but I'm still not too good at bowling. We only get one game free, but that was fine to be honest. Next time I think I'll book earlier for myself and my best mate and then we'll go to the movies (The pictures are right next door!) I have another game booked for next week, which should be fun
Harrumph to the 1st of the month - over £150 spent today! My non-direct debit spends are the £1 for this week and next weeks bowling, some pennies in Boots (facewipes and conditioner) and the only two things I needed from Morrisons. I'm very restrained, honest :A
I need to head to bed soon, so I'm going to sign off! Night all

Yay for spreadsheets! I can lose hours playing with mine. Whadda ya mean, I'm supposed to be working? :rotfl:
I finally got my first Toluna voucher through yesterday. Considering I ordered it on 18th December that's *quite* a long wait. But I now have three books winging their way to me for the princely sum of £2.65. Woot! And I'm up to 60,000 towadrs the next one (which might arrive in time for next festive-season-that-mustn't-be-mentioned-until-at-least-after-Guy-Fawkes-night. Hopefully.)0
