Hi Purpletea
Just had a read through your diary, sounds like you have everything under control!
I too am a follower of Flylady and find her routines work wonders!!!Natwest Card 27.06.10 (reduce every month) £267.63

Morning; boy this week has been dragging. Tonight DD is back at the doctors to see about her speech.
I think that I have sold some more of the fabric, a lady in the States wants to buy some and although I don’t post overseas she’s asked if I can post the fabric to her parents that live in the UK so that’ll be some more money in the pot.
I have got my eye on some more Lego for the kids and they have been told that this will be the last lot which both seem fairly pleased about.
DH has given me his expenses to post, albeit a bit late but it’ll still help once it comes through. £331.50, this’ll cover the money coming out for the boiler and the rest can be paid off the credit card as per usual.
Off to see my friend at work today and get some fruit and veg from the market.
Positive thinking, positive thinking.
Have a good day everyone and I’ll update later.0 -
Afternoon peeps, I promised an update so here I am.
Didn’t win the Lego, I was going up to £10 so not too fussed as that’s £10 saved.
Spent a total of £22 today, this included groceries and a cheap hair dye so I can dye my hideous wiry hair in time for my mum’s party.
So DH got his wage slip through for the month and I have duly done the calculations, we have some money to come off already as we are into the OD but as long as we are careful and do the NSD’s and DH takes his lunch to work; we will be fine this month, not forgetting of course that DH has a week off at Easter and various other bits coming up (fingers crossed we’ll be fine).
I need to sell more fabric, books and tat to generate more money this month to counteract the other bits coming out.
I think that I may be able to achieve 16 NSD’s in April possibly more if I am lucky.
Got a friend who’s a mobile hairdresser, she’s cutting my hair next Friday for £10 and I’ll get her to trim it again in time for mum’s party. Depending on what I get for my birthday this weekend, this will be paid for out of any money I have left over once I have got my boots.
ETA: I have withdrawn £15 from Paypal, this should arrive sometime soon.0 -

Wow over a week since I last posted, thanks for the birthday wishes I had a really good time and was nicely spoilt.
Last week was a mish mash of running around, arguments and lack of motivation.
So I have a week before my peace and sanity is disrupted by the children, hubby and Easter. I need to get back on top of things housewise as last week this suffered badly.
So plan for this week:
Monday – Washing, wash up, change beds and clean bathroom
Tuesday – Sort out napkins to be made and get some sewn
Wednesday – Clean kitchen, lounge and dining room and washing
Thursday – Finish sewing napkins and get them online
Friday – Quick tidy up, hoover through and get ironing done
Saturday – Hubby working at flying club so plan to finish ironing
My NSD’s are on track and I should hit my planned 20 for the month if I am very careful. I need to have 5 this week to be on target, we don’t need anything so should be achievable; with DH working on Saturday that makes all the difference as I am less inclined to spend then so I possibly may hit 6 this week but we shall see.0 -
All seems to be going alright for you at the moment, tea! Keep going, you're doing fab!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Ooh I like that kind of plan, super-organised!
Sounds like all is going well with the NSDs. I know what you mean about when OH isn't around and being less inclined to spend, it's just easier isn't it?Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd nip on as I've sort of slid away from my diary this past few weeks.
There isn't much to report on the money side of things, nothing moving in but lots going out as normal.
I have sort of written March off as all my good intentions went to pot. So I am going to start again after I have been to see my mum for her birthday in two weeks.
The good news is that paying off the overdraft has had its' benefit as this was the first month that we didn't get charged for being in the overdraft by a small amount.
I will carry on updating between now and when we go to the party just so that I know where I am up to.0
