My facts are correct.
My statement was about the you not the OP. The OP had decent reasons to "grass" but you insinuated that they aren't good enough for you because you don't like "grassing" people up.0 -
OP, Was he doing all of this stuff when he was your partner or is it just since you split up?Wildly my mind beats against you, yet the soul obeys. :heartpuls

I reported someone who drives a motor bike with a a tax disc one year out of date - to date, he is still driving a motor bike with a tax disc one year out of date. What can you do?
The millions they must have spent on the "We know where you are, and if you have not paid your car tax, we will find you" from the DVLA - it makes me sick, as I am pretty certain they would be on me like a ton of bricks if I did not cough up!
Should you just keep re-reporting it do you think???Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

My ex husband and his family dont buy my kids so much as a card or gift at birthdays.Hes worked as a gardener and painter with his Dad since he left.Conveniently on incapacity benefit but my friends see him downing beer dancing every weekend.Absoloutl;y infuriates me he can wreck my future, dump his dirt on me,live life of riley claiming benefits and working whilst I struggle as a single parent with no family to raise his kids.
CSA say they cant do anything simply to report him to council.I must of done several times a year last few years stating places he was woring but no hes still at it hasnt been done.It unfuriates me.Scum is too good a word.He walked out of every job he had when we were married and left me with all the debt yet he gets fresh start0 -
Crabman wrote:Eh? Has he declared a SORN or doesn't he ever drive past a police car/DVLA camera van?? :rotfl: All traffic police cars have numberplate recognition cameras on board which flag up uninsured, unlicenced and untaxed vehicles/drivers. I can't believe he has been so lucky for so long. How can he escape if the police are chasing him??
Well Crabman, its outside as I write this. I just don't understand how some people get away with it. He is probably unlikely to have insurance too, as you have to have that to buy tax don't you?:mad:Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

If you did report this guy would he know that it was you that did it, or are there others that could of done it? I'm not saying don't report him i think you should but only if your safety is not an issue, he sounds like a chancer but he could also have a very nasty temper in there.0

urban_spirit wrote:Sugajen - when you speak to the different departments (dwp, csa) gather as much evidence as possible eg name of company/dates/times etc, - particularly for things that cant be explained away as 'one offs' or favours for a mate. The more you give them the better it is, so they can establish patterns.
If he's driving a taxi, he has to be licensed by your local authority, so speak to them also - and obviously the police for no insurance etc.
I really hate the attitude of turning a blind eye to something serious, particularly when this lunatic is driving - maybe around any of us - on the roads.
The police actually have to catch him in the act before they can actually do something, and unfortunately they will more than likely say they haven't got the man power to set up surveillance on him so they can catch him. The only thing they will mote than likely be able to do is note the registration number of the vehicle he drives and watch out for it on the roads. They may of course visit him at home but he will say no he isn't and without hard evidence again their hands are tied, but having said that don't let that stop you at least they will have the information to act on if caught in the act so to speak.0 -
magoogy wrote:anyone know how i shop a drink driver? i have his registration but am too scared really to shop him - would they know it was me?
There was a bit in our local paper recently how to do this. I *think* you have to call the police as soon as the drink driver leaves the pub, tell them the reg no so they can catch them in the act.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
