Should I grass :p

Never posted in this bit b4 so Hiya!!

The "he" in question is an ex partner of mine who is the dad of my younger 2 kids.

Im really annoyed that he pays for nothing, and I mean NOTHING!!, he never told the leccy company when he moved into his flat (hence £500 bill to occupier-who is his boss-so he wrote giving them a false name) seems like he's got away with it, he's got a lovely 42" inch tv but has never seen a tv licence in his life, he thinks water bills dont exist!! he has a "chipped" cable set top box, Council Tax whats that?? He works but gets cash in hand so he signs on for however many weeks he's allowed then stops and starts again as soon as he is allowed (getting rent and council tax paid while he does) And while he's either "out of work" <---yea whatever, or signing on he doesnt need to pay anything to CSA.
He's even stopped paying court fines (he drives with no licence, insurance etc) and nothing has come of it!!!
I get Income Support for me and 3 kids as it is he gets 30-40 quid a week more than I do, so while Im out paying my bills and doing my shop, he's out buying new clothes etc, to go out in every weekend!!

It does sound like Im being bitter but isnt it people like him that puts everyone else's prices up??

It's not about being a 'grass' but about some scumbag who we are all having to pay for out of our hard earned money.

He isn't the only one of course but the more of the barstewards we can report the better. I personally think it's your duty to report him. ;)

Even more so if he is driving without a license and insurance. What if he was to injure or even kill someone?

I think you know what the right thing to do is! :)

Its a hard one really. I suspect you are a bit battered and bruised from your dealings with your ex. While all of the above is illegal I cant really see how "grassing" will help you.
If i was you i would batter him with what you can prove i.e. CSA. As for the rest well its not really down to you to inform the authouroties of his activities. if he is living on the edge as he seems to be then it wont be long before he has a fall from grace. Hope everything works out ok for you. Take care. Dave.

Thanks, Im soooo glad you agree with me.

As for injuring or killing someone...he works as a mechanic for a bus and taxi firm and when they have been short on staff they have sent him out as a taxi driver!!!! so I dont think he gives 2 hoots, and I dont trust him as a driver so much so hes never taken his kids out in a car EVER they are 5 and 4, not to mention my son (from previous relationship he's 8)

Anyway First thing Ill be digging out all the phone numbers I need, Its only fair to those of use that do pay for services we use.

I'm sorry but I disagree with you here. If someone is breaking the law I think it's someones moral duty to inform the police or necessary authorities.

Thats like saying if you knew a child was being abused thats it's not your place to report it. Let someone else do it. Hence why this country is like it is.

OP, you do what you feel is right. If you do decide to report him I for one will be very proud of you! :T  :D

this guy sounds like a sleeze the longer this goes unreported the more of our cash hes getting away with not to mention the safety of anyone who walks the streets because of his dodgy driving!
like someone mentioned get some evidence to the CSA and hopefully youll get a slice but even over that dont think its a matter of getting back at him he just shouldnt be allowed to get away with this stuff!

By all means tell everyone that needs to know for the sake of all our safety and wallets. One word of warning though, if in any part this is about revenge make sure that you do not rub it in his face. When there are kids involved the parents must keep up at least a pretense of getting along.

Hi Dave, I cross posted with you.

I agree with you also to a point "grassing" on him wont help me, but I dont actually need any help, Im wondering how many people there is out there like him, and I wonder would the energy prices have gone up so much recently if everyone paid for what they used??

CSA isnt up for discussion, he doesnt work, which isnt true and cant be proven unless I turn P.I. an hang outside his work with a wig, glasses and fake moustache and a camera, I think I may stand out a little!!

Ive seen loads of "turn in a tagger" "dob in a dealer" and tax evasion, benefit fraud ads etc, so if it isnt up to me to inform the authorities then who is it up to?? --that sounds bad when I read it back, it really isnt meant to.

Hi, he wont even know I was the one to do it, I havent told anyone apart from you lot on here so I know my secrets safe, I couldnt rub it in his face if I wanted to unless I knocked on his door and told him, (I havent changed my numbers when it comes to the kids its all in his hands and so far nothing!) and anyway, Im an OldStlyer now, I dont have bus fare to waste to go to his house!!! lol :rotfl:
