    Thanks for the advise regarding the MGM.

    I'm booking today and going with the MGM rather than the Tropicana! It's gone up a little - works out £850 each that's 6 nights in October half term with direct flights from Heathrow and a deluxe room.

    So excited, will be my first time.. Vegas watch out :)

    Ebookers has the same for £785 per person, plus 4% cashback if you use Quidco.

    or £770 with Virgin flights from Gatwick

    On ebookers it says
    * excludes US$168.00 hotel charge ?
    I spoke to the hotel and was advised $12 a night per room for resort fee?

    Also it doesn't give the option for deposit where as we're paying £150 each to confirm :o

    tsk. we arrive the 2nd. :)

    Plans are changing by the day. Tracy now wants to be there for her birthday so we are now looking at 28th February to March 6th. So this much awaited meeting might just be on:eek:
    The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    The resort fee is collected by the hotel, not ebookers, and so you should be paying the applicable daily rate direct to the hotel on checking in.

    The MGM fee increases on January 3rd to just over $20 a night.

    Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Currently looking at honeymoon destinations and would love to include Vegas but fiance is not keen on spending another fortnight there. So we would love to maybe do a twin centre with 5 nights Vegas and 10 nights Mexico. Only problem is I have no idea where to start looking for this option! Does anyone know which travel companies do this option, or has anyone booked something like this themselves?
    Lucky wins - Rituals Beauty Advent Calendar; Starbucks Coffee & £20 Gift Card; Amazing Hen Weekend at Dunblane Hydro; Heat Magazine Book Bundle; Le Crueset Goodies :j

    Wishing everyone some magic fairy pixie dust for luck!

    I know someone who did Vegas and Cancun via Virgin Holidays. You can try them to get a ball park figure, but I would suggest then pricing it DIY as there may be a considerable saving.
