The timings are probably right, the cheaper flights -$130 fly all over the place, direct flights are more limited and more expensive. Direct should not take more than 75 minutes.

Anyone here ever cruised to/from Vegas....we won't be going next year(unless I can persuade OH) as it's our silver wedding we are doing a med cruise instead....however if we like cruising then we may consider cruising to/from the US as an option for the following year.....probably stay and cruise so we'll fly out to US stay for a week at LV and cruise home after visiting various other ports in US......if I can find one that meets our requirements and price

Thanks for the replies re silver wedding plans. The choices from the travel agent were for luxor and flamingo not ours. Will go back to looking at a DIY package just a bit apprehensive arranging it myself and flights expensive in Aug from Glasgow, but know looking at manchester as an option.
The savings could pay for some of the extras.
