Luci is correct. Avoid Roman Tower aka Classic Room aka Minging Room.

    Anichini Bedding
    Gilchrist & Soames Bath Amenities
Conveniently located near Raos, Payard Patisserie, Mesa Grill Restaurants, and the Palace Casino
Presumably Anichini Bedding means a stinking bedspread, featuring various bodily fluids from the previous occupants.

As Ive said previously, I have no idea why Harrahs continue to devalue such a great brand with these rubbish rooms.

You know youre in the wrong place when the creaking old tiny lift takes about half an hour to go up ten floors.

Nothing wrong with the Roman Tower that a few sticks of dynamite and a great laser light show couldnt put right inside a couple of minutes.

I have just sorted out the coupons I am taking with me from 2 AVG books .and have a lot left over that we will not use.
There are about 40 in total all for off strip properties , so if anyone has a car and will be going around off strip casinos , you are quite welcome to them.
Most of them are for matchplays with a few buffets and 2 fo 1 drinks.
    Gold coast,gold spike,eastside cannery,lucky club,longhorn,golden gate,cannery,bighorn,orleans,palms,silvernugget , etc , you get the drift.

If anyone wants them , first to pm me will get them sent asap.

I travelled out of Dublin this month using the EI/VS combination -I found it was well worth shopping around as lots of companies do this combination. I ultimately used travelocity.com (paid in dollars) as they were the cheapest and have a better flight time combination for me.

I usually fly Delta to Vegas and I much prefer the Delta flights themselves as the planes are much more comfortable and the seating and service are miles better-but obviously price is important too :)

If the pricing was the same it'd be Delta every time for me.

Thanks for the information! Big help. What can you do in the mean time? Can you leave your luggage somewere and get a drink or something?

Going to try the upgrade trick also, so may be worth the wait for rooms to be clean ;) We dont arrive in vegas until about 2pm

Just hand your bags to the bell hop and have them delivered once you're in your room. Don't waste precious Vegas time hanging about for the room to be ready.

For a 2pm arrivial I'd go with the $20 trick as soon as you get there-Just ask if there are any complimentry upgrades whilst laying the bill out in clear view of the receptionist and smile. Worked for me !

One tip for those who like to switch hotels-we moved from Caesars to Flamingo on a Friday. I knew from past experience it would be a zoo later in the day so I checked in at 7.30am (then went back to Caesars and checked out later) -I went back at 2pm-bypassed the massive line and went to the key & mail desk (as instructed when I checked in) -my room wasn't ready but they were happy to move me to one that was already available.

Worth pointing out that the Delta DUB/LAS trip is also indirect.
