Here you go Spike, some suggestions here...http://vegasclick.com/vegas/vegetarian.html

It lists purely vegetarian and dual places so you can eat your meat/burgers and your fiance will have lots of vege options.

spike - couple of vegan articles here... i'm aware vegan / vegetarian is slightly different but may well tick the box (though i wouldn't compare Wynn with Whetherspoons! :D )

... i was going to suggest buffets might be an option - however i've never really look at salad stuff on menus or in buffets so not sure of availability let alone choice or value for money! :)

    hey all, another quick question...

My fiance is a veggie, and neither of us like seafood - are there any places that we will be happy to eat in together? lol :o
I was looking on restaurant.com and the certificates are brilliant. We just want to get a few for places we can actually eat in.

I'm happy with a beer n burger from wetherspoon around the UK :p and my OH likes salads, baked potato pasta, - cheese n brocolli type meals.

    Argh we cannot wait!

P.S She won't be drinking, are prices reasonable on Coke and similar? Or are they close to beer prices as many places over here

    TIA
    (a very excited) Spike
I would say the buffets are your best option really. All have loads of meat, pasta and salads, and the soft drinks are in with the price.
as for drinking elsewhere when eating, soft drinks are about $3 but you get endless refills. Really annoys me sometimes though. I might be half way through a pint glass of root beer and all of a sudden it gets whipped away and a full one put in its place. The wastage never ceases to amaze me
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Thank you all for the replies! There is so much to take in and so much useful information on here!

We were looking at winning some prizes in the UFO/claw grabber machines, looks so much fun but we also need to make sure our bags dont weigh too much on the way back!

Looked online, and the cost of sending a small box of something from vegas near the strip is only about $14 which is brilliant value, thinking if we have time, may send some gifts straight to people from vegas takes 6-10 days to arrive.

I'm sticking with soft drinks for most of the time and $3 area is brilliant for unlimmited refills. Looked at the price of fruit, jeez! wouldnt have thought about that.

Anyway just found out the missus likes mexican veggie stuff, so that list someone posted is spot on! Thank yoou so much. So excited, but a while away yet:j

i remember reading a while back about peoples opinions of rooms at caesars but cant remember what was said. what are forum tower rooms like are they ok are or they the ones to be avoided.

Forum Tower rooms are all renovated and about on a par with Flamingo Go rooms in terms of quality. The Roman Tower is the one to avoid-You're fine

It's worth trying the $20 trick at check in though-got me an upgrade from Forum to either a Palace Tower with high view or Augustus Tower with no view. I wanted to be closer to the Strip than the pool so I chose Augustus and the room was fab and the no view was of the Eiffel Tower and partial view of the fountains which was great.

Make sure you put GIFT on the customs declaration to try and reduce the risk of those gifts getting hit by customs charges upon delivery.

Love the free refills in restaurants stoneman mentioned - but beware of buying a Coke at a casino bar - last time I did it was $6 for a tiny little glass (Bally's - have never tried anywhere else after that so may be cheaper options!)...if I had had the guts I would have said 'nevermind!' and walked away as $12 for 2 is waaaay out of the range of reasonability.

Also, if you make it to M Resort (waaaaay far south) they have self-service soft drink machines on the casino floor - love them. :)

Maybe find out though what the cost of an extra case would be to check with your airline - if it's £30 or $50 - may make more sense to add a case and get an extra 23kg luggage allowance?
