We staying in the Signature for 9 days then going to LA and SF for 8 days or so and coming back to Vegas for 1 night. Any tips in a hotel to stay in for one night, maybe something unusual for our last night?

But doesn't look like it covers your dates.

Maybe check cityandshow.com as penny recommended.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

We're going on our first trip to Vegas, to get married (I know, yawn ;) ) 2 weeks today. Long story short my future MIL has not booked her travel yet. She's wanting to fly from Edinburgh via as few connections as possible (and preferrably not via London as she got lost in Heathrow once!).
Due to her finances she won't be able to book till next week - currently it looks like Continental will be her best bet (Edin-Newark, Newark-Vegas). Not the cheapest at £823 return, but she'd be happy to pay that if it's the easiest option.
Does anyone have any good/bad experiences of Continental long haul flights?
Does anyone have any other clever routes she could use?
Our wedding is Sun 12 Sept, so as long as she is in Vegas for then, I'd appreciate any suggestions......
Thanks in advance, I've been lurking on here for a while and found out lots of useful info .... hopefully I'll be just as knowledgable once I've actually been:o
Also if anyone has good poker room suggestions for the OH then that'd be good. He's wanted to play poker in Vegas for 4yrs (since winning some good hands in Atlantic City) but hasn't done any research yet as to where to play!! His side of the family are very disorganised.

depends on his level of Game . I like Harrahs poker room myself .

if wants to play in a Tourney , print off the current schedule from here

Slow start. Breakfast on the terrace at Monami Gabi, very nice. Then a wander through Bellagio and Ceasers and back to the apartment for a rest.

So much for money saving, just 'blew' $1800 booking the helicopter trip to the Canyon for the morning - but hey, what we saved on accomodation and all that!

Drove over to Wallmart and stocked-up on bits and pieces to keep us going. With my boys it's like living with a plague of locusts, so a few pizzas in the freezer is always a good idea.

Probably just go out for a burger this evening then up for the Canyon trip at 8.:D
The force is strong in this one!

American Airlines have a sale.............

Cheapest flights for me are £632 and that's with 2 connections! Makes the BA sale with one connection at £660 seem like a bargain!

Just received an email from Restaurant.com about my unused certs. This part might interest some of you.
Q. I have certificates I purchased over a year ago, what can I do with these?
A.
You can print and use them at the restaurant. If the restaurant is out of business or no longer on the program, email us at info@restaurant.com and we will exchange it with another certificate.
It looks like they no longer have an expiry date. Did anyone else get this email?

Yes I got the email. In fact I got 2, the second on expanding on the first.

They haven't had expiry dates for the past few months. The one I bought on 1 June doesn't expire.
