Less than 2 weeks till I am off to Vegas for the second time - very excited!!

Just wondered if anyone has some good shopping tips, i.e., where to pick up a bargain, what is everyone's favourite/ must go to shop while in Vegas?

Does anyone know of a good homeware / kitchen shop? I love kithenware & cooking gadgets but didnt see anywhere like this on my last trip, except what was in Macy's. We don't drive so we can only get to shops on the strip / not far in taxis etc.

Last question - we are staying in Mandalay Bay and have read that there is a Walmart nearby (to stock up on american candy essentials!), does anyone know if this is within walking distance or should we cab it?

    Loving the forum!!

    Thanks :)

Bloomingdales in Fashion Show Mall has kitchenware

I hope so. The best bill board on the strip used to be the New Frontier one "Cold beer and dirty girls".:rotfl:
I could post some pics of someone not too far away from me doing the bikini bull riding but I am getting dirty looks.

Go on be a devil :).

I have to admit to going in to watch the mud wrestling once.

Thats the American casino guide that a lot of us on here use. i think it is linked on the first page along with the Las vegas advisor.

I have both for my trip next week because we generally only do buffets and there is enough coupons in them both to gtee we never pay full price for a buffet in a 2 week stay.

Helps if you have a car though because to use a lot of them you have to travel off strip

ACG is a book and I think it is out of stock everywhere for this year (it was printed in nov 2009)

Amazon did sell it so you could try there, I have read it is OOS in Vegas as well

I usually pick my LVA coupon book up from their office in vegas and they may have the ACG as well.

You have to join the LVA online first though fo a years membership at $39

All the info is on the first page of this thread (I think)

    EDIT

looks like it is available on Amazon but only form a USA seller and for more money and longer delivery time than the UK site
