Cant even find the numbers. It seems people are getting pending at the moment if they already have one.

I know ours are still valid but .......

    I'm hooooooommeeeeee

As I doubt many of you are interested in the neck massage I got from Donny Osmond ....I'll stick to the more general stuff ;)

Flew Virgin -got a (free) emergency row seat on the outward -For a Virgin flight it was adequate but I'm still not convinced flying direct on a less comfortable flight is better than indirect with AA or Delta-on the return on flight attendent was so awful I asked for a comment form-interestngly the flight manager offered me the name of the FA-despite me not specifying who it was -so other crew had noticed. I wasn't the only one to ask for a form. Overall a shame as the rest of the crew were badly let down by this one girl.

Got the usual offer to take the tunnel due to "roadworks" from the taxi -which I declined and saw no delays surprise surprise :)

First two nights were at Caesers Palace in a comped Forum room-I tried the $20 trick and got upgraded to the Augustus Tower in a low floor room so could "only" see the top of the fountains and the eiffel tower-which was plenty of view:) Room was huge -bathroom was huge-with a seperate loo and the jacuzzi bath was wonderful. Loved not having to trek through the casino going in and out of the hotel.

Second two nights were at the Flamingo -a comped deluxe room but I had called and ugraded to Go using a facebook code for $30 a night however when I checked in a 7am Friday morning (knew I'd have to wait for the keys -just wanted to jump the queue as Fridays are always horrible-they confirmed me as comped in a Go room -and didn't want a deposit either. I went back at 1pm and my room wasn't ready so they found me another-23rd floor-pool view. 5 lightbulbs out, bathroom sink emptied very slowly so got maintainance in to unclog the hair in it....Oh and the TV remote for the bathroom TV had no batteries. Definitely more attention to detail needed by housekeeping.

I had booked a group meal for breakfast at Paris for twenty people-Everything went perfectly and avoided the horrible long line there.
We attended a private pre-show dinner and a private late night pool party at the Flamingo food at both was gorgeous.

    Did I miss anything ?

welcome back, duchy! Thanks for the report...the neck massage sounds lovely. :) I'll be so pleased if we manage to get an upgrade to the Augustus Tower since the trek from the Palace Tower is a tad annoying...will keep my fingers crossed!

Yes we did it for Tracy a few months ago, even though hers still had over a year left.
Mind I did it again yesterday because I hadn't written down when it was due up and the result came back as "pending".I will check the site for the result in a day or so.

Any updates? has it changed from pending yet?

You don't need a hard copy and you don't need the number. As long as you haven't applied again, which would cancel the original one, it will be fine.

The immigration officer will see your details when they scan you passport.

We were asked at LAX if we had an ESTA. I said yes and went to get the copy from my bag, but he said, "It's OK. I can see you have one here".

I have decided again reapplying as too many people are getting "pending". I just reapplied in June anyway so good for another 22 months.

Dont know if this helps but we updated our ESTA's Sat night... mine and my dads came back pending but my hubbys and mums went through ok straight away. Logged on last night to check on mine and me dads and they were authorised so it didnt even take 24 hours for them to get sorted :)
