Any updates? has it changed from pending yet?
Yes it went to accepted. So just redo it and you get a full 2 years from that date. I wrote the expiry date in her passport
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

i've booked flights with the OH on Virgin (we booked hotel/flight combo through Expedia)... and have been allocated seats for the journeys. However the seats we have been allocated for flying out are on opposite sides of the plane. are we stuck with those seats, or will there be an option to select new seats when you check-in (maybe online check-in?)

not flown VA before, so not sure :)
That is quite strange, as the system automatically tries to keep same bookings together. Go onto the site and manage your booking section. You should see if there are available seats together and just move yourselves to them. If that is not possible they still allow plenty of maneuver before your trip. Do online check-in 24 hours before and there will be more opportunity to get better seats.

I was at Gatwick at 7am the day before my VS flight and tried chatting them up to let me fly a day earlier..... wasn't possible but they did change my seat to a window emergency row. This would have been about +27 hours so on-line check in wasn't yet open so it was interesting they already had access to seats that were previously not available.

Thanks, but it does say on the ESTA website that you should update it before each new trip, which I cant do because i dont have the application number

Oh, I didn't know you had to update for each trip. I went to Dallas in May and am off the LV on the 25th.

I guess I had better check

It's not compulsory to update the flight and accommodation details on the ESTA.

Thanks Wammer - That's what i thought was the case.

We get back early in September, I'll renew the family's ESTAs then before the charge comes in:cool:

Just got an email with this offer if anyone is looking for a short break in October.
£499 for flight + 4 nts at Aria. We paid that for the flights alone in April

Thats a fantastic deal IF it is available, on the website it says the prices are from £499 and that the price is just a guide.

Not off the top of my head, but look on MGM website for guest services (or the like) and then use the International callchecker

Normally there are only so many tickets left on the special offers, so it's possible that you're being offered the best available at those rates - the offer has been on for several months now. Have you tried different dates? And checking what seats are available full price?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
