    Ditto. Boys! :)

And looks like we will just miss you - we arrive on the 14th.

That's strange, it worked fine for me and I really had doubts about whether it would!

Just to add though, I think using the method above results in there being even less Stripburger certs available to you than normal - they are still available to buy on restaurant.com in the normal way (e.g. paying $12.50 for $25), but are not on the list of restaurants to choose from when redeeming your pre-purchased gift certificates. I bought mine at about 8:15 this morning when they'd just gone on sale but perhaps only a small proportion of the already small number of Stripburger certs are available for purchase this way?

If it were me, I would be emailing restaurant.com about that - I don't have my code for the gift card yet (my sister has the gift card but hasn't emailed me the code yet) or I would do it...but to me that's really cheeky - to say here buy a restaurant.com gift certificate and then not allow those trying to use it to access everything that's available directly from restaurant.com.

Tango and Ferf, We're at Golden Nugget until 17th Oct, then at Orleans. I'll pm you both my USA phone number.

We can arrange to meet somewhere while you're there. WooHoo two meets already!

Ferf, Tom gets in on 17th and is in the same slot tournament as me. Chitown Brown (from OV and Brian's) is there at the same time too.

The Nationwide thing is a downer , but i was one of the ones who only really used the card when we went on holiday . i thought it was fair game after the Nationwide quoted me some some hugely inflated fee's to remortgage but then rang me up when i moved to a Woolich Tracker , and offered me a better deal ( i am so glad i went with the Woolich now , as Nationwide had nasty small print that meant their tracker did not sink all the way down too 0.5%) .

i have just applied for this new Halifax Clarity Card . and you can get it in pink so it stands out :D:D

that and our trusty Post Office CC should be all we need .

    Wouldnt be so sure!

I applied a few weeks ago for a RED one, and then got a letter apologising that RED isnt available and I could have any colour as long as it is BLUE !!!

The Nationwide credit card isn't changing, it's just the FlexAccount and debit card so I will continue to use the credit card for purchases.

What I need to look for now is the cheapest way for withdrawing cash at ATM's abroad. The Nationwide may still be cheapest at 2% instead of 2.75% of other cards and a £1 fee instead of £1.50.

I'm seriously thinking of switching accounts to a bank, but I'm not going to do anything rash until nearer the time to see if anything better becomes available in the meantime.

Wont the Halifax Clarity work out cheaper to withraw cash on at only 12.9% apr, as long as its paid off in time

Yes I'm considering that one. It's the bit about interest still being charged even though it is paid in full that I don't quite understand.

I would like to pay it as soon as I used it, but as far as I can understand, you would still be charged interest up until statement date or the date payment is due.

Need to look further into it.

The $25 vouchers are sold out now it appears...just went to get one with the BRIDAL code and all gone. $10 ones are still there though.
