My understanding,(which may be wrong) is

    Halifax Clarity
for example if you withdraw 5 x £300 = £1500 while in the US and you pay it all off when you get the statement the cost will be just over 1% per month so around £15

    Nationwide (new charges)

Same withdrawals would cost 5 x £1 plus 5 x 2% (£6) unless there is a maximum, so would cost £35 in total

Anyone feel free to correct this if its wrong

That assumes you pay a full months interest on your Halifax Clarity . i hope you can load it into credit before you leave or pay in at a local branch when you get home to get that down a bit .

Nationwide of course starting charging outside europe a while a ago , but now their debit card is no better than the rest where ever you go .

oh well we had a least 6 good holidays of fee free withdrawals out it :)
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

We tried the Triple George Grill last trip (with restaurant.com voucher) and thought it was great - plan on going back next trip...it's not far from the canopy area, wasn't at all a dodgy walk or anything. Great food and nice sort of old-Vegas vibe to the place we thought...good value too with the restaurant.com certificate.

We also like the buffet at Main Street Station - you can normally get a 2-for-1 voucher on the Fremont Street Experience coupon sheet.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Had a cheap but OK meal at Four Queens - $7.99 if you join their players club for a three course meal including a prime rib with baked potato or chips.
