Anyone know any good hair and makeup people that come to the hotel, we getting married and the missus is trying to sort things out. The signature has quoted around £300 or could be $300 which we think it a little high. The hair would only need to be 'made up'
thanks0 -
Sorry I know it has been asked before.
I have only just got round to joining Dollar express,(after 12 years) I now have my membership number.
How do I add that number or let Dollar know that I have booked through a 3rd party
Previously I just phoned up Dollar and they did it for me. However, when I tried this in April they said they wouldn't do it for 3rd party bookings. Not sure if anyone else has tried it lately ? Perhaps I just got an awkward person who couldn't be bothered.0 -
SeptemberNew Cheap spending abroad , credit card with no cash withdrawals fee.
In this weeks email from Martin.
The Clarity card from Halifax* has no foreign exchange fee anywhere in the world, so you can get the best rate possible. Plus it doesn't charge for cash withdrawals, although you will be charged interest even if you repay in full.
The rate for cash withdrawals is a fairly low 12.9% APR (this rate is 'typical' which means two thirds of those that are accepted will get it, the rest will be charged up to 21.9%). This works out as around £1 per month for every £100 withdrawn.Cost of £100 worth of...Spending: £0
Cash w/ds: £1/mnthTotal:
£1
This card is top for spending abroad and can only be beaten by Nationwide debit card for ATM withdrawals within Europe.
As an additional bonus, if you have a Halifax Reward current account and you apply for the Reward Clarity you'll get £5 each month you spend over £300 on the credit card (ensure you repay in full every month). Read the Best bank accounts guide for how it measures up.
Will HBOS not just sting you on the fx rate instead of a fee?0 -

my missus was looking for something similar last year, in the end the best she went to the salon in the Excalibur and they done a great job at a fraction of the price some of the other strip hotels was quoting. Cant remember exactly what she paid but is was nowhere near $3000 -
October , NovemberAs a rule of thumb am I right in saying;
Flights are only available 11 months before departure.
Hotels are only available 9 months before.0 -

Yes to flights
hotels vary but the best deals are usually available about 3 months before although this year they have been popping up at anytime0 -

I used Glamsquad after being let down by someone i booked (i originally planned on using Glamsquad but was swayed by reviews).
James (the owner) - came to the Sig and did my hair and makeup in under the hour and it was great - the airbrush makeup didnt budge...infact i woke up the next day with it all still looking perfect!:rotfl:
I was $160 plus $25 for false lashes, and then 20%tip - so about 240 - worth every penny, plus they come to you so no messing about getting to another location etc.
I used the MGM spa/beauty place, and paid a FORTUNE for acrylic nails and a pedi - the nails where awful, all bubbled and just !!!!!! really! Ive had them done for £20 and they where better and i paid about 8 times more than that there.....0
