    hi all
i'm getting married next year at mandalay bay i'll be staying at the excallibur because we have the kids with us but OH and i will be staying in mb on night of wedding and the night after(we're lucky to be bringing the grandparents!).when we stayed at TI two years ago we done $20 tip and got fab corner room with great views but i was wondering if anyone has done it at mb and got upgraded to a suite cause i'm thinking of booking basic room and chancing my arm with $20 tip!!!!!! Yes, a month ago and I didnt even need the $20 tip
also we are thinking of having our reception at maggianos has anyone ever had a reception there??????? Yes, last year and it was fantastic

Go back a few pages and you'll see what I had to say about both the MB upgrade and Maggianos. We had our wedding meal there last year, and went back again this year for our 1st anniversary.

Has anyone hired a Ford Escape or equivalent from Dollar at LAS. It is coming up at a good price on Netflights but is showing as only being able to carry 1 large case and 2 small.

Would like to know if they will carry more than that or what Dollar have as an equivalent. I have tried emailing Dollar in the past and they havent been very helpful as fleet is always changing

I know I can get other cars to suit as i have tried many of them but I fancy a 4x4 but not sure about paying grand cherokee money
We get that grade when we hire, and we have 4 very large suitcasses, but there are only 2 of us so we put a couple on the back seats. this class is called midsize SUV I think. plenty of room.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I don't know if anyone is interested, but I've found my 'old' Vegas photos so decided to upload them. I'm still missing my 2006 photos (my very first trip) which is a shame, and my husband has the 2009 ones on his laptop so I'm missing them.

    2007 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/angel_ite/sets/72157624420442362/
    2008 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/angel_ite/sets/72157624304160423/

Both times, we stayed at NYNY (which I'm planning to go back to next year) and the 2008 visit was particularly special as my then-boyfriend proposed in the Canyon (guess where we went for our honeymoon :T)
Some brilliant pic's in there thanks for sharing! :)

As above I had my reception there last year and will be going back this year...ive still not sorted a "review" site for the wedding - but my pics are all here - http://www.photobox.co.uk/creation/288650229

I've known loads of brides use and love it from a vegas wedding forum i used. Just look up banquet options on their website and mail them - they'll send you package details, and will be happy to answer anything you want to know. We had the Abruzzi (sp?) room, but would have preffered the larger room, that was the only slight negative, but i mucked around and and was gone when i went to re book the larger one! My own fault really.

Food was great, service was great and i loved everything about it.

    Hey all

Was wondering has anyone ever paid for there hotel in cash on the completion of there stay?

Last time I stayed in Vegas I just used the express check out in the room.

This time I was thinking rather than charging the stay to my credit card which has a poor rate I would put the money I have put aside for the hotel on a FairFX card, along with the rest of my spending money, and lift the cash on the last day to pay for the hotel.

Do you think this would be possible?

    Cheers

Cant see that being a problem as long as you gave them a credit card imprint on check in

You will have to give them a CC imprint, but I have always paid cash on check-out
